Well said, unfortunately, the whole region is void of sane and responsible adults and definitely absent of elected local and national leaders to highlight right and wrong, to raise their voices against the ills and the destructive elements dragging the whole region back to the stone age.

Imagine a terrorist group controlling the general population and shutting down commerce including banks and government institutions while governors and elected officials looked the other way.

Obviously, the governors and the elected officials in the region are not in charge and they are not controlling anything, they are just figureheads living large in government houses and collecting salaries for doing nothing.

We don't. Our mistake is thinking that there was southern unity and fostering for it, but that wasn't the case. Becuase Southern doesn't want or have unity... And I don't mean Biafra, I mean genuine southern unity.

We would have minded our business, and did what we know how to do best-- be successful.

But thank God, most of us are now realizing it, and we are forgetting this cultural brotherhood with other tribes, and minding our business now.
