"Following the rising spate of insecurity in Jos and its environs, the Management of the University of Jos has suspended all academic activities in the institution till further notice." Very sad! And another evidence to show that Nigeria is a failed state. A failed state is defined as a situation where the center government can no longer able to provide security for its citizens. We have seen many of these examples in Somalia and Afghanistan. I therefore call for military take over of Nigeria as soon as possible. When military government was in power in Nigeria, there were peace and security for all Nigerians. People were able to go out and not be afraid to come homes whenever they wanted. Now, everyone is afraid to to go out. Please, military, return to power now! What other choice is better? |

Too bad. I vividly remember when a friend of mine who was a law student at Unijos years ago had to flee the schooling because of this same insecurity. He never went back to the school. He had to retake JAMB and got admitted to study Philosophy at IMSU. Life is precious. He is doing very well abroad right now. 7 Likes |

kestolove95:Sad but TRUE. Christians mostly from berom tribe will block the highway, drag out passengers from vehicles passing through plateau state and slaughter them because they appear to be muslims. And these bloodthirsty fiends will attend church on Sundays saved by the blood! "Peaceful religion" based on human blood shedding! 4 Likes |

kestolove95:U don't even have any idea what happened u just jumped straight to shouting useless, useless anyhow. Earlier the herdsguys killed 76+ people for no reason. They(irigwe people) even protested that evening but the news easily forgotten. During the mass burial for the 76+ victims the mourning youths from the villages filled the road causing hold up, only to find series of vehicles completely loaded with guys of same tribe/religion as the perpetrators that's when some of the angry youths went out of control and the incidence happened. Said to kill 25 or 30 but following that unijos has lost a good no of students and many other unfortunate indigens. 1 Like 1 Share |

The same jos that was killing random Muslims Y do plateau people like to harm themselves like this. While kaduna keeps developing, their neighbors jos keeps going down to an all time low. U guys are only doing yourselves walahi. Y kill innocent travellers who know nothing? U said u have problem with fulanis but u are now killing random Muslims hausa wooo, kanuri wooo, gbagi woooo, Yoruba wooo, anyone that resembles a Muslim is targeted. Bt when these victims fight back it becomes a wailling season for all of you. keep it up bt just know that u will receive equal proportion of your actions. 1 Like |

kestolove95:But the useless Muslims kill them alot especially the useless fulanis. Fûcking ashawo is everywhere. Infact plateau is de list of states dat bleeps ashawo. A typical plateau boy can't pay to fùck, when dere gals are very cheap, unless de Igbos dat reside dere. Come to P.H, Lagos and Abuja ( highest of Dem all) and see what de call Ashawo. In Abuja 90% of gals are into prostitution for survival. Even those that works de join legit plus prostitution |

The education system in this country is bleeding profusely.is this country's policy against education or is there another agenda cropping up which we don't know.if this continues unabated, it will be difficult for northeners or middle beltans to really appreciate education as it should be in this 21st century.meanwhile I advocate, the students to first reach for safety before solution comes their way. |

A serious fight is ongoing in Jos as per daily news reaching us, like that young student in a tricycle who was brutally slaughtered but the most important thing in Nigeria now is grazing routes. |

OmovuduTheBeast:abeg make we bear word.its not that deep.theres always a solution to every problem.all of them should go virtual.its ok to shut down the schools but continue your Lectures online via zoom and other internet platforms, conduct your exams online and submit your project via emails to your supervisor.when it's time for graduation, they send your certificate to you online so even though school is Physically shut down, the academic calendar is on going in your respective homes 1 Like |

Hmm peaceful Jtown is now a war zone. I can understand why Wike wants to ban grazing and register non indigenes. Although the latter reason may have land grabbing under stones. Ikwerre Otu. |
