You don't have to delete them ....
Just go ahead and upload the recent IRS Transcript as requested.
It won't take long before you get response...
But the time frame can't really be predicted this days.
If that is your only outstanding document...
The next mail should be case complete.

Should I upload it the same way and place I uploaded it the first time. If so, should I write comment along with uploading it

Please has anyone filled the DS 260 form recently? Does it still have a section for previous work and school details? Mine does not

I saw two questions in a sample on NVC website but I didn’t see it in my form
1. Were you previously employed?
2. Have you attended attended any educational institution at a secondary or above? Or it has been modified now

Or should I call NVC? Please advice

My dad is a US citizen. He filed for me about 5 years ago.

Thus, I'm the primary applicant for a US immigrant visa.

Over the waiting 5 years, I have passed my DNA test. Recently, I got married and we now have a son.

About 3 months ago, I received some messages from the NVC and I have completed and paid for my IV application fee. I equally added my family as ACCOMPANY.

Unfortunately, I am unable to pay for the application fee of my accompanying spouse and son.

How do I pay for them?

The message on my dashboard reads: "NVC cannot review your submitted documents until we have received all the required documents DS-260, Civil Documents and Financial Documents. Once these documents have been submitted, we will review your case....."

Does this message mean I have some outstanding documents to submit to the NVC? If yes, how do I know the documents am I yet to submit?

I mailed NVC for clarifications, and the NVC said I should pay for my wife and son to complete my application.

Unfortunately, the NOT PAID icons against my wife and son's names are still not selecting on my phone - so I can't pay for them.

My SUMMARY INFORMATION reads: "Due to the numerical limitations on immigrant visa issuance prescribed by law, this petition is not eligible for further processing at this time. The NVC will retain the petition until an immigrant visa becomes available...."

I'm confused. The whole family is worried.

What do I do now?
Or should I change my family to follow-to-join?

Thank you very much for the replies to my previous question. People who contributed have made my family more knowledgeable about the whole US Immigrant process. I say a grateful thank you to you all.

I wasnt the only one filed for. My sister was equally filed for in 2016.

However, she is now married with a-7 month old son.

On the contrary, she has not filled her DS-260 form or submitted any documents online to the NVC site.

Recently, her international passport expired and she has just paid for the renewal of her international passport to change her name to her husband's name. She has equally done her NIN in her husband's name.

Now that we understand the delay that comes with being married and having a child, she has some questions.

Her question is: does she still have the opportunity of sticking to being an F1 applicant? If yes, what are her chances? Should she do another passport and stick with her maiden name and apply as an F-1, and later on invited her husband and her son when she is in the US? She is worried about her young marriage and her fragile son.

She is the fearful type, and won't want to get into early problems with the US immigrations. I am the one encouraging her to be bold and fearless unfortunately I am not harmed with information to help her in this daredevil stunt.

Please help her. She is a sad, unemployed postgraduate in Nigeria

What can she do?

Now that she is married are status would change to F3 we have some people that would retain their maiden name this has nothing to do with the immigration journey.

She goes into F3 no matter the names on her about-to-be-renewed passport. I don't know why people do this marriage thing when their immigration benefits are at stake.

What can she do?

Whether she stays with her maiden name or uses her husband's name, it doesn't matter, her category has changed due to the marriage. She can get in trouble with immigration later on. It can be a reason to revoke her green card or even citizenship. See these links I posted earlier:

That is a wrong advice marry your legitimate wife or husband if you are ripe for marriage. What will be will be . My dear what is your can only be delayed but cannot be denied Nigerians who live in the united states are over 40yrs without a legitimate wife all in the name of getting a green card if you are going through the right way get married unless you want to beat the system through a fraudulent way I mean the arrangee way.

I understand jawe, my people. We were not informed. We kept everything close to our chests cos we were afraid of "village people" hearing.

....What if she claims single? That's she unmarried. She will be in F1, abi? She can drop her child with one of her brothers.

When she gets over there and gets her PR, she can come back for her family?

How long will it take her to bring in her child and her husband?

How risky is that?

.....Thank you guys for the wonderful inputs. I wished I knew these things 3 months ago.

She can divorce. Nothing else will work. If she conceals things, she may pay for them later. Shey you said she is fragile and doesn't wanna commit fraud? Why all these now? Village people or Nigerian people? For any other things, Google or ask USCIS.

I Cant say what you are thinking hasn't worked before but it is advisable to just wait a few more years and go with the entire family than risk muddling her Entire immigration process due to Impatience and dishonesty!!

Your Choice though!!!

No one should put their life on hold because of immigration. I personally would advice - love your life to the fullest.. marry, have kids, pursue that education, that job, that promotion..

Whatever it is..

You guys don't understand me. They wanna lie about their marriages, complaining of no joy from being in Nigeria. If you are happy in your marriages, ignore what Nigeria throws at you. Abi...you may not even agree to go to America. Agreed?

What is ideal is oh so 7yrs will be added to my spent 6yrs...cool.

Thanks. My question is about the GC not immigrant visa. I already entered and got GC minted by going every 11months. However, there're so many places in the world to see and I don't want to keep going just for validation. Yet there's no guarantee about actually moving there at this point.

nowhere:

You have 6months to use the visa and it is one-time use only. Then if you wanna stay out of the States, you do so each time for 6months, if you want to do 1yr, you must seek for the reentry permit as you depart. Anything outside these, you are risking your residence and begging to be readmitted with SB2 or something. If Embassy refuses, you start all over again or you fix Naija. Ask google for more!

Please house how long will it take nvc to review a document I resubmitted.

Is there a way I can let them know that I'm resubmitting the documents so they can review it on time.

Unfortunately. Unlike uscis where RFE cases are treated faster than fresh submitted case, nvc follow same timeframe for every submission either fresh case or RE case. It means you have same timeframe with someone who just submit fresh documents
