I became very furious, I felt like stabbing him...I shouted...aaahhh! My phone??!! He said do your worse! I'd beat you up! He was coming closer, I banged the door...locked it up ...ran downstairs and locked the entrance gate and dashed to the police station in the rain.

On getting there I met the officers .they told me they can't follow me cos they warned me to allow them teach him a lesson the last time I was still doing lovey dovey....that I should go home and face it... when I'm ready I should do the needful, I knelt down and begged that I'm ready tonight...I never expected him to be this callous.. he just smashed my phone...the phone I bought 3months ago with my hard earned money... I sobbed.


After few minutes, their Boss told them to follow me in the rain.


On getting home...I met our chief tenant at the gate, he restricted the policemen from entering the compound..


He said he was highly disappointed in me...how could I call the cops on my husband? The father of my kids? The policemen replied saying..."Mr Man, if you know this young lady's story, you'd be the one to hand him over to be taught a few lesson at the station"

The man insisted that they mustn't arrest him...then the policeman said he had a few words to tell him....they entered and the policemen schooled him on how cruel he had been and how appreciative he should have been for having a wife like me....he promised to be back any moment I call again that to avoid him coming again...he should put his shit together....he apologized and told me to give a call anytime, the chief tenant gave them 5k and they left.



I sobbed and wailed bitterly....I felt cheated in the men's world....the chief tenant begged me to settle it amicably.



I couldn't catch a sleep all through the night...evil thoughts kept hovering in my head....he just kept mute....since that Thursday...no single word from him...my phone is just blank with different shades of color.. cracked and bend... totally damaged.


I called one of my students in the street to lend me her phone which I used in updating this write up?
