This is a correct statement of fact, however, it is worth bearing in mind that face masks minimize the risk of transmission, which in my view makes them worthwhile for as long as this pandemic rages.

If the "not my portion" crew remain disinclined to take measures that mitigate the risk of infection by this deadly and highly contagious pathogen, I can only hope for their sake that Papa God picks their phone calls when they wind up infected and struggling to breathe in a hospital bed, as a direct result of freely inhaling tainted air pervading crowded public places where precious few may choose to wear a mask.

Personally, I choose not to assign Papa God with the duty of protecting me from my own ignorant mistakes, by simply avoiding such errors in the first place. Papa God is way too busy attending to tithe-paying churchgoers, meaning that stingy bastards like me are basically on their own, with respect to all matters that require a healthy survival instinct based on the application of common sense.

I get your point but take it easy. 90% of people with covid have pulled through. Maybe you should see how filled the stadium is during the Arsenal match today. That is a less religious population there.

The numbers are rising because they are actually doing so..
THOUSANDS are suffering from the disease in Nigeria, who nobody has bothered to test for..
In fact any number you get quoted officially, times it by a multiple of a hundred and that might be the truer picture..
After 18 months of being around, the disease is now endemic and as common as the common cold or malaria..

There is no point trying to reason with the "not my portion" crew, or with the "God forbid bad ting" crew. They are content the way they are.

Thanks to a vigorous vaccination campaign in the UK, virus figures are finally dropping for those lucky enough to be residents in the UK.

In Nigeria where less than 1% of the population has even heard of anyone who took the vaccine, the picture is far different, meaning that the utter devastation wrought by the virus in India would be a more accurate model of what COULD occur very soon in Nigeria and other African nations that are largely forgotten by Western vaccine manufacturers.

Do you actually know how the virus affects the body? Do you think people can just get it and act like nothing happened? Why are the hospitals not over crowded. See the virus is real and perhaps over 90% of nig. Had it at one point or the other. It doesnt effect us. So move on.

On a serious note, the Yaba isolation center in Lagos, among others, is again full to overflowing, with oxygen supplies running very low.

Other isolation centers nationwide in Nigeria, have reopened to admit a new wave of "God forbid bat ting" people who refused to accept reality until it was too late.

Scamdemic cheesy

It is "scamdemic" until it catches you or any of your relatives, then you will know it is real.

You don't make fun of an infection that has killed more than 5 million human beings worldwide within two years. That is pure wickedness.

We need to ban Parties. We can keep going to work. People don't social distance in parties and put on nose masks anymore. If you still think this results are fake sorry o. The V.P ground operations in Arik air died from Covid last week.

To prevent infection from this deadly virus, simply intone the following phrase three times every morning :

Got fobit bat ting ! Got fobit bat ting ! Got fobit bat ting !

Once this protocol has been observed, Papa God will ensure that ONLY people you don't know get to die from the pandemic, simply because you also declared that "It is not my portion", while also announcing to the virus that "It is well !"
