Futureyahooboi:Good morning sir, you can start with light food rich in protein, calorie and vitamin. Then slowly you can introduce normal adult food. |

Please what are the medical reasons, Because my female cat gave birth around July and now she is pregnant again so I wanted to spay her after she weans off the next set of litter she would given birth too. Is that enough reason? Sorry if I am asking a lot of questions. And I have a male cat so I wanted to neuter him first before she gives birth again. I just want to know if I am doing a good thing to her and him. seunH: |

Ife26:Go ahead sir, that's good enough reason. But please do it in a good Vet hospital and avoid quacks |

seunH:Sorry for the delayed feedback. I bought vista plus antifungal cream from a pharmacy and applied to my dog's ear twice a day, morning and evening. I also withdrew the carbs and any likely source of sugar from her diet, so I was basically feeding her just animal protein(beef, liver, kidney, chicken heads, fish and egg... All raw) with one clove of garlic and 1 teaspoon of acv added to her breakfast daily. The problem got cleared under 5 days. Acv is now a mainstay in my dogs diet while I add garlic occasionally. Thanks for the help. |

| Re: Talk To A Veterinarian by seunH(op): 4:37pm On Aug 22, 2021 |
Futureyahooboi:If you don't want to stress yourself, you can simply get to any Vet shop and ask for already made food perculiar to the age of your dog, although the downside is that it contains preservatives. Alternatively you can feed your dog food like pap mixed with milk, egg, de-boned fish, boiled meat, rice shredded with carrots (introduce gradually) etc They are very nutritious especially for growing pups. |

Good morning Dr. I notice drop of blood in the vag of my dog, today is the 13th day. Plus she just eat little or nothing, she also vomits sometimes white foam one time and another time it was the food she had eaten. I hope she’s okay? How long does the heat period last for and how can I be sure she’s okay? What can I do? Thanks for your assistance ahead… |
| Re: Talk To A Veterinarian by seunH(op): 5:38pm On Sep 13, 2021 |
uc22223333111:Good evening sir, in dogs, heat (estrus) may last for around 9 days but can be longer or shorter. I'm not too comfortable with the vomiting but provided you're not observing any further symptoms I'll just prescribe a broad spectrum antibiotics just in case. Send me a Dm, I'll respond with the prescription. I'm so sorry once more |

Hello Doc is cod liver old capsule for human good for dogs, i have been using it on my GSDs for years and their Coat are shining and beautiful, but my german caucasian seem different, she keeps shading every 2 months and it got me worried, should i increase the dose, i give her one capsule a day 1000mg combined with vitapet |
| Re: Talk To A Veterinarian by seunH(op): 1:43pm On Sep 14, 2021 |
odoemena2020:Good morning sir, Cod liver oil is very good for dog and you can use human cod liver oil, it's the same the only major difference is the quantity per tab, hence it's advisable to the get the one specially formulated for dogs, if available. For the Caucasian, we need to establish the cause of the shedding to be sure it's not due to reaction to the cod liver oil, meanwhile you can suspend giving your Caucasian for now while we observe. Finally please do not Increase the dose, that 1,000mg is already too much because dogs need around 250-400mg. I'll be on standby |

Nickelodeon93:. Good morning sir, I'm so sorry about what is happening. Firstly you'll have to do a pregnancy test to confirm pregnancy. Then I'll prescribe multivitamins for you. But for the meantime let's first confirm pregnancy |
| Re: Talk To A Veterinarian by Nickelodeon93: 9:20am On Sep 15, 2021 |
seunH:Okay. How do I do the test.. It's just 3 weeks.. She was crossed on 24th August.. If she dey urinate for here, e no dey finish |
| Re: Talk To A Veterinarian by seunH(op): 10:40am On Sep 15, 2021 |
Nickelodeon93:It can be confirmed in a lab, although I'm suspecting pregnancy. Let's place her on multivitamins while we wait for confirmation, because I won't want to prescribe drugs that can affect the pregnancy (if pregnant). Give her vitamin C and B complex, for Vit C you can give her the veterinary formulation or human formulation preferably the white one, give her thrice a day while Bcomplex once a day. Once we confirm I would tell you the next step. |

Please doc I need help I have a five month old dog and I just noticed she has a swollen mouth and it's peeling also.i want to know if I should be worried |
| Re: Talk To A Veterinarian by seunH(op): 2:36pm On Sep 17, 2021 |
tobamz:Good afternoon sir, a lot of factors may contribute to this condition, hence I'll like to see a picture of the affected area. Meanwhile, it could also be due to mineral deficiency hence I'll recommend multivitamins rich in Vit C, B- Complex and Zinc, you can get it in a pet shop. You can also give cod liver oil and fish too, they are rich in the above minerals. I'll be on standby!!! |

I see you are helping people with their pet problems, and I need some advice too. My cat is two years old, and from the moment we got her as a kitten, she is very picky about food. It would be more accurate to say the food that cats have to eat. We always buy her the same canned food because she won't eat her dry food and salmon oil. She won't eat anything else. But she chews everything and eats dust, hair, rips up plaids, and eats bits and pieces. Once when we weren't home, she made ten holes in the rug, found books on my daughter's desk and chewed them up, and ate a rubber band for money, and after that, she was throwing up all night, and we called the vet https://www.thegoodypet.com/emergency-vets-usa. |
