BELEIVE connotes TRUST, ©how much do you TRUST that Jesus existed? ©Is it just what people around you are saying? ©Is it the numerous Churches calling Jesus? ©Spirits appearing to people and telling them contradicting things about Jesus? You need to know what makes someone a Christian. Remember that many people saw Jesus performed miracles and even join in preaching about him for several months but later left him and never want to have anything to do with him again! The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob proved to be the one and only true God for centuries so His name went far due to His mightiness. He sent a messenger to the Jews to teach them how they're going to take the message about Paradise to all the earth but the people weren't interested in the message due to their condition at the time the messenger arrived in their midst. They were planning to revolt against the Roman Emperor who was ruling over them as the world power of the first century. God's messenger taught them to LOVE their neighbours (including their colonial masters) so most Jews hated this servant of God with passion. WHY? He has the power to race the dead, heal the sick, increase food supply and in fact control the forces of nature! So they believe that with this guy on their side it's time to colonize the entire human race. But the messenger is not for that rather his mission is to make all people become one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers. His teachings: ©Whoever want to be his friend must love God and his neighbours as he love himself. Jews feel like taking revenge so they don't buy that idea. ©They must be mild-tempered always so they can pass across God's message to all people. ©They mustn't depend on weapons to lead whoever wants to follow them. ©They must not discriminate against other races so anyone who accepts their message automatically becomes their family. ©They mustn't participate in Politics. ©They must make preaching and teaching of their message first thing in their lives. ©They must be prepared to die for their fellow believers if the need be. ©They mustn't be selfish or greedy so their life must be simple, no notice me lifestyle. ©They must not make showy display of their Godly devotion. ©They must not participate in any military services. Definition Of A Christian! Since this young man lived according to his rules then whoever wants to be his followers truly must imitate him in THOUGHTS, WORDS and ACTIONS. So Mr OP, have you ever been a Christian or you're just a misinformed churchgoer? |
