Hey EmeeNaka, sorry to hear about your refusal, I know you are a winner and a getter, so you will reapply....I have seen you support and advised people who were delayed one way or another, and at the end were victorious. The wait is part of the process, it teaches you patience.....on the relief you feel, remember, it's better hearing asap from them, than IRCC delay decision and still deny one's application at the long run.

Please order your notes, address concerns, and reapply. I believe you reapplication will be you testimony.

It will end in praise.

Lekiboboe:

Good Morning Mazi,

Well am not too familiar with married applicants or who should be the principal applicant or not. Probably SOWP would suffice. Await the response of the gurus on that.

But with my little knowledge based on your post, i think you should be the Principal Applicant cos your wife has a toddler and a 3 months old baby, that being said, it might/would challenging for her to study at this period or even in the next few months cos of her obligations and responsibilities as a nursing mother.

Now that you stand a better chance as the principal applicant, GRADUATING in 2010 as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER is a very obvious study gap so you can't go for a MECHANICAL ENGINEERING PG. CERT Program. For progression sake, go for a Program related to your work experience.

From the tone of your Job designation and Job description self employed, my company is a LTD liability, deals on Automobile, you are an AUTOMOBILE DEALER, that being said you are good to go for a POST GRAD. CERTIFICATE PROGRAM in BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Do your research (google) on the following PG. CERT programs and the colleges in Canada offering them (loads of them are located at ONTARIO)
GBM - Global business management
IBM - International Global business management
SGBM - Strategic Global business management

Visit the links of the programs below to see their overviews, admission requirements, tuition amount for international students, course outlines etc. and choose the one that suits you

- PG. Cert in Strategic Global Business Management (2 years)
Conestoga College, Ontario

- PG. Cert in Business Management - International Business (2 years)

Note
ONCE YOU GET YOUR ADMISSION ask questions on this platform so you can be able to perfect your study visa application well, cos no two visa application is the same. What works for an Unmarried applicant would likely not work for a Married applicant with kids. So ask questions on this platform to play safe.

Good luck!!!!

Thanks brother,
I So much appreciate...

Hello, going to same too Jan, can you please put me through the entire process of paying your first semester fees, thanks

Sorry I am just seeing this. Well, I paid via flywire but the conversation rate was very expensive. I hear you can pay through Form A but I am not sure since I didn’t use that. I think @Sammyblack used Form A.

I get more scared when I see timeline like this being refused
1. How on earth will you refuse a family man leaving his family behind on family ties?
2. Refused him on employment prospect even after submitting his employment letter and letter of introduction
3. Refused an applicant with full tuition fee waiver on personal asset even after submitting his personal account.

Omo! I weak aswear.
All you can do it to wait for your GCMS NOTES.

As our custom is here after refusal, kindly order for your GCMS notes so we know the actual reason why the VO refused you..

All the reasons you stated here are just generic refusal reasons, the exact reasons why your application is refused will be stated in your GCMS notes..

So order for it and when its ready, you can drop it here so I can advise you or other Gurus can also advise you..

Omo! You have a fully paid scholarship now… but It is clear that that the VO does not see your Employer as a suitable sponsor. You may have been assessed based on your own finance. It is always more believable for your sponsor to be an immediate family member such as your Parents or siblings.

Please which course are you going for? You need to demonstrate that your course of study is in high demand in your sector and valuable to the growth of the Nigerian economy.

You have enough home ties to Nigeria o. Maybe you just need to go the extra mile. Sigh

Your Mum gave you a deed gift, let her write a support letter as well. Show evidence of what she does…. Her business or employment. If she’s retired, show her retirement letter and last promotion letter.

Did you get a letter of introduction from your employer and a study leave? If you didn’t, you can get these as well.

I may be wrong but another concern I see here is that you’re married and you have dependents… Your statement needs to show that you have enough to take care of your family in Nigeria for the duration of your studies and also have sufficient to support yourself. You may be needing more funds.

Please gurus in the house should also contribute here. Refusals can be really hard and depressing, but I’m sure you’ll definitely get your visa on your next attempt. God will orchestrate it to happen. Amen

This application looks to be super solid. Anyway, lets wait for your gcms notes. However, in your SOP did you explain how your wife and kids are going to cope in your absence. That is, the financial arrangements for them. Secondly, is your wife employed? Anyway, lets wait for the notes.

Astrazeneca vaccine is already in the country and currently undergoing verification as at last week. The roll out is expected to commence this week. Hope this helps.

It is not advisable to analyse refusals without GCMS notes showing the real refusal reasons.

It will be good if we can all desist from this.
