This is for people who think that those aluminum profiles are safe. If this thing can happen to iron pipes, just imagine what it would be like.

My advice has been to use angle bars to frame your window burglaries and shock it into the wall. Hanging it together with the window frame isn't safe.

This is picture of the attack on the defense academy.

the tools are very important. Up till now,we still do sanding manually.

But with the tools available, we're doing quite well.
/

The world is reversed. Oyibo pay premium price for things done manually. We pay premium price for things done by machines. Why? Because our artisans do not pay attention to details. I watched a tutorial on sanding. They narrowed it down to the directions of sanding and effect on the finished products. We lack such details and finesse.

Some of you make graduate employees envious with how much you make in a month. But instead of reinvesting the money to perfect your trade, only God knows what they do with the money. I suspect sugarbabes, marrying another wife or outright "dorime" in a nightclub.

By the way, the tools are relatively cheap. Not bragging, but with a tool that costs less than N200k, I can paint a house better than most of those claiming to be professional painters in Nigeria. Imagine painting a whole house by one person in about 3 days.

Hahaha, I’ll help you define what they do with the money. Yoruba call it’s bank onirun, pepper soup, new wife with 3 girls friends at the same time, ogogoro etc.

When your construction is done you must need some good paint to give e new look to your building! It depends on you how you want to make your interior and exterior painting. But it's always good if you use waterproof paint for your building. You can check this website to know more about waterproof paint : https://paintersvilla.com/.

Good evening everyone. I have reached a solution with eyinne. The used five out of six doors and it's remaining one. If anyone wants the door here should kindly let me know. The cost of bringing it back to Nnewi makes it such a bad business.

The location is Ajah Lagos

Thanks

I will like to thank everyone that mediated on this door issue with Michlin. We hv finally settled it amicably, i was able to take 4 doors out of it as my engineer said that the maximum we can take cos of the size . It will be managed and used for the kitchen side but not suitable for the entrance side .So Michlin agreed to refund 60k to me while i keep the door till he finds a way to retrieve it . It was a peaceful settlement by both parties . I will do the needful.
Michlin I apologize for the use of words but it was caused by the ill treatment i was receiving. Lets treat each other with more kindness, it helps .
Thanks so much . I will do the needful on my post grin

Although, I live in an 80 year old house with PVC doors and windows all round. All the things you mention there are alien to me.
My Chief, thankfully you said 80 year old.
Don't forget I said my experience n I didn't generalize this.
* Has there being any fire incident in the house to make you confirm the fire part?
* Were u there during the installation to make you know if they amended on site to fit if the openings were not perfect for it?
* I bet we still have same quality of materials that was used in making those in your build at the moment.

Many tools are now Brushless and cordless. You charge the battery when there is light and you can take it to your site without worrying about power supply. Be it drill, angle grinder or cutting tools (saw). Most of my tools are cordless because of the power problem in Nigeria. I prefer Dewalt and Milwaukee. It is doable. There is a huge market for used tools. With the exception of minor wears and tears, they are in good working conditions.

did I hear you mention DeWalt and Milwaukee tools? These things cost as much as a kidney. My original Bosch grinding machine was stolen on site. Tried to get another one and it's #100,000. Like how do I afford that again. Got the first one on a promo price few years ago

Onsite aluminum roofing.

1) No transportation issues.

2) Exact lengths cut onsite.

3) Less waste.

Did you just say " no transportation issues"?

The transportation stories will come from the guys bringing the machine to site--it is inevitable. grin grin

Chairman! I’ve something interesting to share on PVC vs Aluminum windows.

I’ve not witnessed any fire outbreak to see how both will perform under fire BUT I’ve seen how they perform under impact and crush test.

As a matter of fact, the picture I intend to share will show you how different types of aluminum profiles from 6 demolished buildings look after they were subjected to harsh conditions vs how the PVC window installed on only 1 house in the estate performed.

It’d be shocking to hear that I can still use the PVC windows but we can hardly put together a complete window from all the 6 buildings where aluminum windows are installed.

I’ll upload pics when I have the opportunity to do so.

________
Considering the cost and quality of the PVC windows, I wasn’t expecting it to perform any less.

This should work. I recommended same design to Sir @tomaths on kobocity.

You can use a similar design or something close in your build.
