macof:How will Benin have relationship with Ife and Esans our closest neighbors can't relate, what sort of history is that. Time will tell na only time he go take, The same palace that concocted the Ife tale changed it. |

UGBE634:That's why I'm saying I like how you realised it is better to deny any connection with ife at all because you have seen your "ekaladaran is oduduwa" nonsense cannot fly. Better to run as far away from Ife as possible because you can't have any business with ife not to accept Ife glorious supremacy at last |

macof:I know it's heart breaking if you have been following my submissions, I have always been consistent since I discovered that Benin/Ife relationship started after Oba Ovonramwen. How can Oba of Benin be Yoruba and all of them have such difficult Edo names that can break the strongest of Yoruba jaws, if they attempt to pronounce them . Can you pronounce Ovonramwen? You guys told everyone that Yoruba was the official language of the Palace, my question is why just end with speaking Yoruba language, are the people forbidding Yoruba names, show me the Yoruba names in Benin history before Oba Eweka 2. |

| Re: Th by HornyTave: 4:31pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
It is only on Nairaland you'll see a Yoruba man teaching an Edo man his history. Only on Nairaland A Yoruba man will teach an Urhobo man His language Only on Nairaland you'll see a Yoruba man who hasn't left Osogbo telling you an Itshekiri man claims to be Yoruba. Lol. Yet they haven't lived in Delta before o. Apart from Warri, they haven't been to the creeks and hinterland of the Niger Delta, yet they know their history than the locals. They even go as far as saying ' Oghene ' means ooni. Lol. I wonder who's worst between the Ibos and Yorubas in identity theft. Ive lived in Ondo, Ekiti, Edo, Kogi, Delta and Lagos Nd there's nothing common between the Itshekiri man and Urhobo man though they are neighbors, talk more of the Yorubas. There's nothing common between the Yoruba speaking villages of Owan and Yoruba speaking areas of Akoko Edo. The Owans are Oras by tribe and Akoko Edo are Okpameris, though they speak Yoruba are not Yorubas. It is funny to even know many yoruba villages has individual languages different from the general one. Even in Urhobo, there are deep ones only Indingenes who lived in that place would know. There's a sub language of the Urhobo called Opke, that's the unadulterated one. If I speak Opke, not all Urhobo will understand. Same way when the Isoko speak, most times People from Mosogar wont understand. The Itshekiris has languages different from the common one, same way, in Benin there are many tongues, different from each. When an Oredo man says La'oze, the Egor man will say something else, in fact there are more than 20 ways to say good morning in Benin. I understand the major yoruba, Edo and Ishan to an extent, by extant laws, you'll think I understand Itshekiri and Urhobo because they are allegedly from Yoruba, but no, the languages are very different. Even in Ishan, Uromi will say ' Ba'tie'eh ' but the Ama man will say ' Be tue'eh' , we are all ishan but ask 'What is your name in different ways ' The main way to,connect people is 1. The festivals they undertake 2. Religion 3. Traditional dresses 4. Marriage laws 5. The Rulership or Kingship pattern. Lol... Funny people who haven't travel would argue.... Hope the Yorubas also serve the Ikhimi tree and worship Osun since the edos are from Ife. |

| Re: Th by macof(m): 5:05pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
samuk:Lol.. No. Meaning You cannot say a thing like this samuk:Clearly, a result of your inability to understand that yoruba is more than the standard Yoruba you might be familiar with.. Which was me even being lenient because many names of the past Omonoba are very easy to pronounce no matter the dialect or accent. Infact some names have recognisable Yoruba meanings |
| Re: Th by tollyboy5(m): 5:13pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
macof:Lol according to your theories of propaganda almost everything came from Ife. The sculpture of oduduwa has been seen in the middle east and called a different name but your historians prefer telling %60 lies and %40 truth. |
| Re: Th by samuk: 5:13pm On Aug 29, 2021 |

Olu317:lol when the Oba said Oranmiyan was the 37th Ogiso and first Oba, Ooni of Ife should have debunked him na Abi was he deaf during the Oba's coronation? Ughotton. just wow, which senatorial district abeg, I want to confirm myself. even the Lagos you hype so much is a war camp. your problem is, you want to annex your elder, even Ogun will not dare annex olokun sef but u, you no wel |
| Re: Th by HornyTave: 6:07pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
TAO12:Owo has no Benin relationship yet they use the Ada and Eben in their coronation their King's coronation as same as the Igue festival of Benin... the same Yoruba tribe that was named by Fulanis some few hundred years ago is chest beating... Bia sef, apart from the ragtag fulani invasion you guys managed to pend, which other war did your mighty Yoruba fight?? though the ass whooping the Fulanis gave you guys in Ilorin is still fresh. Lol. chest beaters |

HornyTave:Sometimes I wonder if you guys are just retarded that you don't even understand what you say just minutes before HornyTave:All you had to do was watch the video and see two itsekiri chiefs satisfy your condition @bold PS. In my next post I will address your mention of Eben and Ada You Bini miscreants don't know anything |
| Re: Th by HornyTave: 7:56pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
macof:lol. I have 2 questions for you my guy 1. what tribe are you? 2. have you lived among the Itshekiris? be like I'll post Reno's video, ( a prince of Itshekiri ) detailing how Itshekiri came about. I don't entertain people who hasn't left their village talking rubbish. Lol... very soon you'll say they speak Yoruba or have yoruba names, where as, the Itshekiri language is not similar to the Yoruba. I've lived in Ado Ekiti, Akure, Isua in Ondo state, Ayetoro in Kogi state and presently living in Lagos. all my stay at Ubgangue and Aronton ( excravos ), both Itshekiri towns, their language is not similar like your yoruba language, lol.. stay in,your Bush and talk shit. come back and talk when youve left your village.... if you see any itshekiri, ask them why they use the Ada and Eben, also ask them why the former Olu didnt last..,, lol... go and eat ewedu and leave history. last question, Why didnt Ooni of Ife didnt intervene when this present Olu had issues? Lol... Same reason why Ora and Okpameri bear Yoruba name is same reason Itshekiri has Yoruba name. Yoruba will say Ekaro Itshekiri will say ' Da'bah' I just deh waste time educating this one wen no know outside Osun State... wallow in,your ignorance |
| Re: Th by Olu317(m): 9:10pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
HornyTave:You goofed as usual. Well, Ughotton was where Ekalardan founded and died over there. Infact, oral interview conducted at Ughotton by Edo scholar in 2015 also testified to the fact, that he Ekalardan was the one who founded Ughotton in 11th century C.E, which was briefly before Oranmiyan arrived Igodo land in the and Established Obaship dynasty at the same 11th century, which is affirmed by Oba Bini's Court historians. This is the reason, I call you guys clowns. . So, refuting this claim is as saying , that you run faster than your shadow. |

| Re: Th by HornyTave: 9:23pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
Olu317:So Oranmiyan came to Igodo ( capital city of an established kingdom ) to,become king without a fight.... so someone just came to Igodo and made himself king, he had no past dealing with the place. wahala. so tell me where Ekhaladeran went after Oranmiyan founded the Oba stool... na different version una deh bring everyday. but you know the Fulanis didn't capture ilorin without a fight but Oranmiyan captured Igodo singlehandedly, no fight, no tussle, just came and said ' Oya as e deh be now, na me don be king and I go change the name from Ogiso to Oba because na me Oranmiyan deh yarn and nobody fit challenge my yarning ' after some time, after imposing himself in,Benin he called the whole people and said ' as e deh be now, unto the founding lifestyle when I come do for life, I deh go Ife to be king, as I deh talk am, na so e go be, I don leave my Pikin eweka to,be king ' and he left to Ife. Lol. nkw reason if you had brain if Oranmiyans balls were made of Dragon fire or its another assumption aftsr eating Amala and gbegirir |

HornyTave:1. About the Ẹbẹn and Ada They are known as symbols of the King's Justice and Favor Ada being a cutlass to execute justice and Ẹben being a fan to deliver mercy or favor These are purely Yoruba derived In Yorùbá fan is "Abẹ̀bẹ̀", and cutlass is "Àdá" Also "ẹ̀bẹ̀" means plea for mercy or a favour (the receiver) "dá" means to execute, to perform. ie. Execute justice = "dájọ́". (the giver) You don't have this linguistic representation of the Ceremonial fan and cutlass "Ẹbẹn" and "Ada" in Bini language. In Bini "execute justice" is bu ohiẹ. To "seek favor" is rinmwian Also in Bini "cutlass" is Opia (possibly igbo derived), while "Fan" is ezuzu You can't find the logic behind the names of Ẹbẹn and Ada in Bini language We can see that only in Yorùbá does "Ẹbẹn" refer to Mercy/favor as well as Fan So also "Ada" refer to Cutlass as well as execution of justice 2. So much talk about Ologboṣerè, yet if asked to give its meaning in Bini you wouldn't be able to. Even at first look, you can recognise the n-l palatalization which is a signature of yoruba language. Anyone correct me if that exist in other Volta-Niger languages Ologboṣerè can be derived from Oní ògbo ṣe èrè/ire = "the wielder of the two-edged sword prospers/does a good thing" |

HornyTave:I will give you the needed direction to clear your doubt .Ughotton lies 42 kilometres to the southeast of Bini. This is shown in Bini-Edo map for you and the unrealistic groups posting false information, which contradict their Ekaladerhan , who was the Ogiso Owodo son.

HornyTave:After thorough research , interview wered done by Edos scholars,in which one wrote on the importance of Ughotton to Bini king , as a place where Portuguese came in contact with Bini land and Oba Bini. Anyway, the interview were granted by the spoke persons of Ughotton in 2013, which led to the fact that, they acknowledged Ughotton founder was Ekaladerhan in 11th century C.E. Their names as follow -Interview with Mrs. F. Iguakun, Age-46, Venue Ughoton, Occupation-Nursing. Interview conducted on 15-4-2013. For further information on religion at Ughoton, see interview with Christopher Enodunmwenben, Age-59, occupation – farming, venue-Ughoton. Interview conducted on 6-4-2013 interview with Rolland Obazee, Age-71, Occupation-Retired Soldier, Venue-Ughoton Village. Interview conducted on 6-4-2013. -Interview with Thomas Okunhon, Age-75, Occupation-farming, Venue-Ughoton Village. Interview conducted on 6-4-2013. Why cry over the truth? |

macof:lol.... so Fabrication at its peak... Ologbo means Bush cat, Ologbostere is leopard. my people, the Esan people call Bush cat or leopard Ologbo... wahala... The Ada and Eben wasnt introduced during the Oba regime, it was the Ogisos that introduced it as symbol of AUTHORITY. lol Eben are given to titled Chiefs and Ada are given to Enogies. lool. I know you don't know the meaning... they don't mean either favour or mercy. wahala... baba I've told u to stick to Ewedu, you wont listen. Ada is always present wherever the Oba is, its a symbol of his presence. go,and check the picture when Duke of Kent visited Nigeria... the Ada bearer was present. Lol... favour and mercy keh. u said Opiah, not knowing Ada means sword and it is Ishan that refer to Cutlass as Opiah and the Benin has a different tonation. Lol... wahala.. How did symbols of AUTHORITY created during Ogiso Ere, has Yoruba meaning when Oranmiyan came after the Custodian of Igodo, who was before the 36th Ogiso... shey u see say na 34 Kings u deh jump so? besides they are not weapons kf war but authority. lool.... baba go,and eat Ewedu abeg... be like I should ask you sef, did you attend school of forgery and fabrication cause youre very good at it, |
| Re: Th by Olu317(m): 10:06pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
HornyTave:Lol In as much you do not know, Oranmiyan was an emissary to Igodo and did not arrived Igodo without entourage. Usen, Lukumi were part of the people that followed Oranmiyan to Igodomigodo. Infact, Yoruba were the first to ride on horse in Biniland, which had Oranmiyan as lead prince on horse. This can also be verified because Oba Bini acknowledged that his patrilineal pioneer ancestor ,Oranmiyan, rode on horse when he came to Igodo kingdom. This is also acknowledged by Palace historians. |

Olu317:lol. be like you'll come and tell me why Owo, Warri and Onitcha uses Eben, and Ada o, cause since they have Yoruba origin, a Yoruba prince must have ruled Onitcha too to,have Yoruba symbols. be like we should visit Ughotton together sef. I'll be available in December, let's travel small. |
| Re: Th by macof(m): 10:46pm On Aug 29, 2021*. Modified: 9:44am On Sep 02, 2021 |
HornyTave:Lol obviously it flew over your head. Not to worry, i wasn't expecting you to be capable of comprehending that. But I was giving the etymology of Ẹbẹn and Ada for those who have sense to know it break down the word "ológbò" let me see.. And what does -ṣerè mean that makes adding it to "Ológbò" refer to Leopard You see how you are the one making fabrications ![]() Also "Ológbò" is not the word found in "Ologboṣerè" If you use the word "Ada" for sword in Bini then it is also a Yoruba input because that is Yoruba for cutlass. And while cutlass is technically also a sword.. We don't use it to refer to any kind sword, Yoruba were master blacksmiths and give names to different kinds of swords. "ada" is particularly what we call cutlass, it is not for war and as such rarely used as a weapon, we use the Idà and Ògbo. the Ada of a king we are talking about is neither Idà nor Ògbo.. It is a cutlass not a long sword or a double-edge sword |
| Re: Th by googi: 11:00pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
These fake Bini revisionists are something else. They waste so much time trying to revise history common to all. This only started in the 80s because a Yoruba Oba of Bini went home to Ife and came back annoyed that he was not well received. No matter how you guys revise it, the Court has spoken and the Ogiso/Ogiamen will never accept Oba. Oba will always "rent" his place during coronation. |
