Thanks for sharing, I opened this thread thinking it would be a solution to the reason why my neighbor's dog barks at everyone in the area, even when the dog has been in the area for almost one year. I guess I'd check Google as well. 1 Like |

I remembered how captain saved me from snake bite, back in the days. This was in the 90s. Our restroom was bad, and so for days we couldn't use it but had to help ourselves with alternatives. I had to wait until night cover to use the bush. On this particular night, I was relieving myself, when captain appeared from no where and started barking. Captain, a very friendly dog, barking at me. That was strange. After a while, it moved to my angle and sat down, facing the other side of the bush, and kept on barking occasionally. Well, after everything, I stood up, pointed my torchlight to the direction he was backing at, and behold this huge black cobra, with hoods spread out to attack. I froze at the moment, not knowing what to do. I had to hurriedly, but quietly retreated. Captain stayed behind, barking for several minutes before he finally joined me. That wonderful dog mysteriously disappeared one night, till date. 10 Likes |

My late dog,Black and white(2003 to 2015)was really amazing.These dog knew when we lost our dad,he cried with us,even when we took it along with us for my dad burial in the village it refused to eat food except you taste the food.It started drinking only satchet water in the village.That Dog was really part of the Family.We all cried when it died. 9 Likes |

Human detect your condition and can communicate but dogs only means of communication is to bark. Very important to note this sign as it could save lives. I remember years back when accident involving train and truck happen, that night at 1am, I was trying to cross railway but didn't know what block the rail, my brain couldn't reset from distance that night because I passed that place and on my return to see this massive object blocking the railway, I was scared to get close. But to my greatest surprise while I was looking for alternative route some dogs numbering about five or six were continuously barking at me, blocking and preventing me from looking for alternate routes. I was no longer comfortable with the dogs and the way they were barking at me and looking around I was alone. I tried all I could to go back and look for a longer route to go back home. In the morning I narrated what happened to me that night to my brother and the action of the dogs. He said, there is a news this morning about and accident involving train and truck that many lives were lost and people are trapped under the train shouting for help, Maybe that is what those dogs barking at me are trying do, to go and help them, its a message they are passing on to me but i didn't understand, I cried that day but i couldn't help, the whole scene was scary. Since then I begin to pay attention to any animal around me with unusual behaviour as it is message they are trying to relate. 14 Likes |
