Which kind talk be this one sef... Are defenders supposed to fear him before??! Nor be the same blood dey flow for their body. Is any serious attacking player supposed to fear Van Dijk??!

Of course, he can't be as slippery and fluid as he was years back in England. The same can be said of Messi. That's the beautiful thing about aging gracefully in your career.

Ronaldo should do his best, and the others in the team should do theirs. Victory will be certain... Having Cavani and Ronaldo should inspire other kids around them to step up... A lot have grown since Cavani joined. Ronaldo's presence will compel the others to step up!!! That is the beauty.

Look at De Gea for instance... Getting shoved aside by Henderson and Simon (National team) must have pushed him to step up. His last 3 games were exceptionally brilliant, especially that Wolves game.

United has been inching close to the EPL since Ole took over... Truth be told, they should have won it last season. Stupidity on the part of coach and key players cost them that trophy, not to mention the useless fans who made F.A punish them with that impossible fixture (Liverpool and Leicester) which practically handed the league to City!

If both coach and players get serious this season, learn from last season's preventable slip, they will be on course to win it...

I expect a close and tight fight to the last games among United, Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool!!!

That's how they said about Cavanni. Yet he was banging in goals, despite series of injuries and all. Zlatan too, same thing.
You guys keep forgetting that Ronaldo is not just a regular 36 years old. He is still very fit, all thanks to his discipline as an athlete. Ronaldo is fitter than most players younger than him.
In United, he won't have to struggle for anything cause the team already has players that will create for him. His work is just to convert chances for the team.
Will the team create chances for him?
Definitely!.
And Ronaldo is very clinical.
His positioning, His movement, His Game Reading etc are top notch.
That aside...
United players do not have the winning mentality, cause in actual fact, how many of them have won trophies?
Ronaldo coming into the team, that winning mentality is coming alongside cause he is a serial winner. He always wants to win.He is never satisfied.
Most of the pundits claiming omniscience and all can't coach to save their lives.
Little wonder they are in studio saying thrash..
