Super Eagles in Camp: Countdown to Liberia game

1. Ejuke vs Ndidi as Ekong looks on.

2. Valentine vs Tyronne.

3. Onyekuru wins an aerial as Valentine, Moffi (blurred), Omeruo (blurred), Kalu (blurred) look on as they close in.

4. Simon Moses: Wondering who he will assist today? (LAD is already leading the assists table in ligue 1 and already top 5 in the top 6 leagues).

Did u watch etim esin play. I heard he was better than okocha but I never watched him play
Etim Esim was very good but not better than Okocha. Probably if he had maintained his discipline he could have achieved more. .
He was a number 10 but played then more like a today's number 10. IE was more attack minded than Okocha, was a direct player and also played with LoTs of Pace.
He peakedd at the age of 21/22 which was about the age Okocha was just taking off. Okocha was 21 at that 1994 WC even at that stage he was already better than Etim.

Okocha was a more gifted player than Etim.

Nice one Doc. You should really think about doing a podcast. Just imagine something like the Sporting Doctor grin. Seriously your talents need to be recognised. People that don't even do half of what you do are cashing out.

Thanks egbon for your insight. I never watched Etim Esin growing up but the impression I got was he was some golden boy of Nigerian football based on all the hype around him. The emergence of Jay-Jay probably made everyone forget about Esin fairly quickly.

To be honest I never saw Onuachu moving to better team or league because of his style of play. Coaches and scouts get eyes and if Onuachu is too fantastic I see no reason clubs frm bigger leagues didn't bring him on

No be the same league wey the likes of lukaku and bashuanyi frm emerge after doing well in anderlecht and standard liege? Even i believe onuacho had better goal returns than both

Onuachu's movement off the ball is wack and he only strives in a particular system which is gradually fading off in world football
I have never rate him but his strike for the super eagles of late made me praise him small

But in a nutshell dude is just there

He really needs that training. Man's the worst passing CB in that whole team.

Modified:
I forgot that we now have Ozornwafor the alumnus of Aigbogun's team of shame on the team. Surely the contention for best "anywhere-belle-face passer" is very tight.

na Sadiq own pain me wella cus he is one player I have made out time to see few of his games last season

He has all it takes to make a name for himself in big leagues in Europe most especially laliga which is the main reason i prayed he makes the leap to the Spanish top tier

I will prefer having him arnd than Paul Onuachu
Well that shouldn't stop an intelligent coach from inviting him should the team needs him

A well tactical coach can still invite such players like grant him an exception but unfortunately rohr is not that intelligent

That Aigbogun team was a crime against foot ball

That team almost made me dislike under 20 team

Aigbogun and his gangs of players own nigerians an apology for that awful ouster

Meanwhile, going forward all these hyped transfer speculations we give to our players should stop.
Imagine some of speculations we had
1. Onuachu - Lyon, Westham, Arsenal
2. Sadiq - Bayern Munich, Sevilla
3. Ndidi - Manchester United, PSG, Juventus
4. Moffi - Dortmund, Inter
5. Nwakali - Leads
Among other unrealistic speculations.
Truth is, most of our players are Average and below average they lack ball confidence especially Ndidi, there's nothing special about his play, no need to dey hype.

Anybody who featured on that shitshow still remains a quack footballer in my estimation until they prove otherwise.

Other Kleptomaniac coaches would put up four or five slots in their teams for sale, Aigbogun sold ALL the slots for his team (except the few UK based whom the public forced on him). The team was worse than terrible.

You can laugh, it's allowed, the key word is Rare, but it's not rule out, or why do you think some people with fever/typhoid, diedhuh,

And even before the vaccine was produced, we had been record low deaths, and high recovery rates,

And don't give me that senseless talk, about our heat, cos to much heat/sun is also a cause for Fever

And from all your >point listed, only 6 is out of place, the rest are symptoms of fever/typhoid
This reason are lame for who ever believe,
I work in a place where I am always expose,
Had people who had it with severe complication, in fact I know someone who died of Covid-19 complications, so doubt at your own risk.

I can measure more than 20 disease that present with Fever and is not malaria or typhoid. Most viral diseases or bacteria infection will always present with fever

Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr has revealed that the trio of Glasgow Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo, Racing Genk striker Paul Onuachu and Boavista defender Chidozie Awaziem reported late for international duty because they were holding transfer talks.

A fourth Super Eagles player in Porto's Zaidu Sanusi has not yet linked up with the national team as at the time of this report.

The summer transfer window shut in major European Leagues on Tuesday night with the aforementioned players staying put at their respective clubs.

Aribo, Onuachu and Sanusi were linked with possible moves to the English Premier League, while Chidozie Awaziem was on the radar of teams in France and Turkey.

Speaking to reporters after Tuesday's workout at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Rohr said : "We are ready, we are still missing two players or three (Aribo, Onuachu, Awaziem), they will arrive tonight or tomorrow.

"These players were concerned by transfer problems so they could not be here with us since yesterday.

"It was a good training session today, I think the players are hungry, they want to win this match, we know that Liberia had a good preparation, they have George Weah who did everything to have a good team and we know it won't be easy."

Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka and Hoffenheim central defender Kevin Akpoguma withdrew from the Super Eagles squad after testing positive for coronavirus.

Onuachu to Lyon and west ham where confirmed bro

Well Na trouble you just find so ooo ,why are you dissing my ndidi

I'm optimistic dstv or even local channels like NTA will show the matches. FIFA tend to be liberal when it comes to broadcasting rights for their games.

In all honesty I'm genuinely shocked that Onuachu couldn't move this transfer window. No matter how you might feel about his skill set to score 30+ goals is not beans.

Ndidi was more of hope than concrete interest from anywhere.
