Congratulations sir. It's advisable to have another alternate source of power to complement the solar system and include it in the planning.
I wish I could advise on the wind turbine from personal experience but the guy that did my wind turbine couldn't get it to work even though it has been mounted.
Raining season would make solar charging very slow with the battery draining to very low level that won't make it last except you want to use phcn or generator to be complementing it.

Hmnn. Some things are better experienced to be believed. I was skeptical about this dog issue until I saw it done at two sites.
One is my aunt and the other a customer. The both buried DEAD dogs and have not experienced termites once. It's been over 6 years now and counting And I am talking about very serious termite problem not the occatonal challenge. Maybe there is a chemical that seeps into the soil from the dead dog that is offensive to the termites.

Also yet to be explained is why termites don't eat/attack planks made from palm trees. I had to use palm boards on the smal flat I built in my father's compound on account of the above before I heard about the "dog-effect". I also realised termites have somewhat disappeared from the area but I am still observing. Building was roofed in 2008 or thereabout. As of 2010 I was raising poultry there but I know I abandoned the place after roofing for some 2 or 3 years before using it for poultry

What if I tell you those guys at arena aren’t always legit? It’s always a 50-50 probability.

Here’s what I do though when any of my device/equipment fail, I keep them in store till someone come to pick up for free; go for a swap deal; pawn it for few nairas; give it to the kids for their experimental projects.

I don’t bother myself with back and forth cos I value my mental health and I don’t want to slump and die chasing mad folks.

One of my client here has a similar experience with a circular saw purchased from Arena. He did it my way - count his loss, bought a new machine and moved on.

This doesn’t mean there are no legit guys at Arena o!
