Philosopher1979:The last friendly was bleeped up by NFF who used carpenters. Azeez has been invited before when he was in hot form but inviting him now will be bias considering that other players are better and getting game time. Na for here we go roast Rohr if he tries it( Not forgetting that the number of new players he will have to invite will be low because u don't cause much changes to ur NT |

Goke7: I came out expecting to see a good game of football after a long time without watching a competitive game of the SE. Go back to Russia 2018 qualifiers and you would always enjoy rewatching all our home games. This one na just to manage make we get result and move on. It is really a shame we have to descend this low. We better move our remaining home games to a better pitch. Football is meant to be enjoyed and not endured. 5 Likes |

chrisooblog:Our coordination was very good. The only problem I'm having is the sloppiness in ball handling, which I blame on the pitch for now. |

JohnBullMySon: I'm watching the midfield and what I'm seeing is Iheanacho not dropping to add the extra man to retain the possession in midfield, He may have scored but this team doesn't impress me at all 1 Like |

humility33: This has nothing to do with Nigerian politicians but it has everything to do with Yoruba politicians. Learn to stop calling all people in Nigeria Nigerians because Nigeria consists of ethnic nations. What is built in the SW is determined by Yoruba politicians not Benin politicians not Igbo politicians not hausa politicians and certainly not any of the over 200 ethnic nations politicians. It's a Yoruba thing and not a Nigerian thing. |

TheLoneCitizen: No. 1 - natural Grass. No. 2 - synthetic Grass. The Pitch is not as poor as some of you are portraying it here. Perhaps because you're watching it on NTA. |

Not the best half of football I have seen. I'm certain this same selection is capable of doing more. I put the lack of cohesion down to the pitch and the short period of training together. This is why our teams always look better in competitions proper rather than qualifiers. On an individual level. Few observations; 1. Aribo seems to not have the finesse to make up for his lack of physicality when up against rugged African opposition particularly in games played on the continent. 2. Moses Simon is more industrious than his competition on the wings but his end product is just as bad. He should learn to mix it up a bit and be less predictable. 3. Ola Aina doesn't look too comfortable today. Not sure if we are doing him any favours playing him on the right. 4. The manager should know when to instruct the team to play 'keep ball' for a few minutes. No need to initiate attacks in that phase except there is a glaring opening...it's called game management. Bring on the second half. 6 Likes |

lloydtruth: Coach's instructions are for him to play a more defensive game, covering for our attackers. Playing Iheanacho in a two man frontline with two active wingers is basically a 4-2-4, so those 2 midfielders have to sacrifice to cover for the extra man forward. 6 Likes 1 Share |

jihday:We really need someone like Oliseh to teach us how much domination we have over the Liberians now. Although I am expecting the intensity to drop towards the end(typical of this team) but this first half was great football on a hopeless pitch |

TheLoneCitizen:The second looks like Astroturf. Sincerely I don't care much about how a pitch looks than how it feels. Both might be bad. |

Subzero047:Iheanacho is not playing upfront. He is clearly playing SS which is his best position. SS is not the same as dropping to midfield entirely. |

Olulong: Pitches are judged by how smooth a ball moves on it. Our pitch looks bad and ball movement is equally bad in it. I can bet it with you that the Algerian pitch doesn't make the ball bubbly when moving on it. |
