The president has no power over any land in the federation except in FCT.. Land belongs to the states and only governors can give out land.

Land belongs to the people held in trust by the Governors. They cannot give out land just like that because they are Governors.

The ban of Okada was not a hidden agenda. Lagos made it clear the ban, along with plans to empty out abandoned buildings across the State, was a security initiative.

Lagos did not want to wait to become an unsecured, terror-prone and kidnap haven like other States of Nigeria that the inaction of this same Government has let down.
