Akume had his flaws and he is not the best governor Benue ever had but he did far far better than the fraud noise maker Ortom. Benue have always had conflict with the fulanis and past governors always find a way to use internal security in the state and few military presence to control it they never turn it to a song to cover their incompetence.

What Ortom is doing now is just business and politics btw it was his predecessor Suswam that brought Fulani council ward in Benue to win election.

So a former governor cannot criticize or condemn terrorists killing his "former" subjects?
Ortom had severally raised alarm that every attempt to speak with Buhari over the killings have been blocked. And Buhari has not denied it.
They assumed that criticizing the killings is synonymous with criticizing Buhari's ineffective leadership.
So Akume has remained silent, cos he wanted to please his Fulani masters, all for what? To get the party's chairmanship position. This is wickedness and gross insensitivity.
