You are too quick to broke shame people who are working hard to earn a living legitimately. A lot of people were not privileged to enjoy certain luxuries of life hence the reason they have to work their fingers to the bones to get their daily bread.

If the driver fckup, e suppose collect low rating. Whether surge will happen or not, e suppose collect am. All this one na emotional blackmail.

My own is, don’t rate a driver low out of sentiments or petty reasons. I have not had any reason to rate a driver below 5stars on Uber in a very long time. But you see Bolt, I will do -100 if I see am sef. Mtcheeeew grin

In the bolded lies your answer to what makes the difference btw a bolt driver and an uber driver despite the same person and same car driving on the different platforms. Same way same rider riding on the two platform.

To simplify it, you feel relax on the Uber app then give 5star which in essence doesn't even matter on Uber to the driver... 5 straight 1star rating in Uber won't affect a driver on the Uber app.

On the other hands, you feel unnessarily agitated and pissed off when on a Bolt app riding even when the driver hasn't done a thing... He gets stocked in traffic you suddenly attribute it to "that's how you Bolt drivers do to increase your money" forgetting he's being lead by the GMap and also forgetting the Corolla next or beside you is having your friends with you all are heading same place. The next word will be, "na the bolt driver the Uber driver dey follow na him make na".

End of ride 1star... If his next ride gives him another 1 star in the same day or two that driver is definitely getting blocked the following day.

So you see? Simple things... They all just a play in our minds, nothing more.

So have a change of mind. Simple!

Should you find yourself using the Bolt app someday just be yourself and try to be nice.

Everyone deserves respect and good treatment.

Experience Bolt drivers in the house, how do you break even and make profits because to me, this prices paid by riders are low for a car owner to make profits.

Bolt just launched in Lokoja, Kogi State newly and I said let me even drive my car on the platform and have a feel of it. So I registered and got accepted. I went to the panel beater to do some minor repairs which cost me about 7k. I fueled the car 2k, and I launched my bolt driver app.

For 4 and half hours, I had about 6 riders and I made total 4k, which is not even up to what I spent for the day. That is after buying 1k fuel extra before I got home. Total spent = 10k. Total made= 4k. Balance= - 6k.

To me, this is ridiculously low for a car owner, imagine long trips of 30 minutes and the rider will only be charged 800 naira. Sometimes a rider will call me, and when I get there, they will be 3/4 people waiting for me. Yet bolt will charge a paltry 800 naira for 4 people/seats on this bad Lokoja roads, very terrible roads. I have not even talked about the distance I have to drive from to come pick them up. Who pays for that fuel from my location to riders location?

The most annoying experience yesterday was when I picked 3 riders (1guy, 2 girls) for a short distance and bolt app said 200 naira.... Are you kidding me?.... How much will the 3 of them pay for Okada,? That should 300 naira, nah.. Nah... With my ac blaring, I just told them 400 naira, the guy paid and even gave me a tip only for one of the girls to be saying that but bolt on her phone is saying 200 naira. Blah blah blah

Abeg you guys should give me clues as to maximize profits else, na to park my car jeje...

Y
Lol... You just took me back to memory lane now. I can still remember my experience working in kogi state many years back.

Felena junction
Agbaja Mountain top

Ayingba

Ajaokuta
And other places... I enjoyed the pounded yam... Good and accommodating people.

That's putting it lightly. Should have been "Why would any reasonable person accept any trip at all from shrine?"

Drop off at shrine, good. Pick up from shrine, when they're high and can do anything without conscience? Never.

RIP to the deceased. Some incidences can and should be avoided. He would have been alive if he had commonsense.

Just imagine this id.iot

Do you even have sense at all? How dare you question and say such about the dead... Can you imagine! So you think you're the only smart one in the job? Hmm! I pity you.

May God have mercy on and May your understanding open to know that we are all alive just by God's grace and not by common sense. Foo.l

I've been off social media for quite some time due to personal reason but I had to take that decision off the table cuz of a friend who found himself in a big mess.

Pilots, one of us is in serious trouble and I felt I should call the attention of the house for possible assistance or advise, on Saturday afternoon, he was requested by someone around igando to pick up some guys, unknowing to the driver, those guys had a gun on them.

While he was taking them to their destination, they were stopped by the police for stop & search, immediately police stopped them and asked them to alight, 3 among the 4 guys he carried ran away while him(driver) and the last guy were arrested when they found the gun in his car.

Now the guy has been branded accomplice despite showing them bolt app and claiming he's just a driving who was just providing his service.

These guy had been in detention since Saturday without any hope of coming out soon, any strong link or assistance would be highly appreciated at this point to get him out...

How far? Is he out now?

You’re advising that one? A semi educated black African migrant menial worker over “there in the USA” who their society tramples upon daily both physically and mentally to the extent that the only place he can feel superior in any way is to look back towards his home country’s citizens on a faceless forum and try to project an image of competition and accomplishment in every single opportunity he gets just to feel better about himself?

Leave that guy. His issues are heavy upon his shoulders. When someone can’t write a single paragraph without putting the statement ‘here in the USA’, you should know that person considers the fact that he could afford a one way plane ticket at a particular time in his past to be the greatest achievement of his life till date.

His character will never change. We will manage him like that. Being ‘in the usa’ has really made him the greatest man from his village and we should commend him for that.

See review one woman left for me on inDriver, na wa

I didn’t even speak throughout the whole short trip besides asking her how her day was going and wishing her a wonderful day.

The music volume was on 20 out of a maximum of 60 and she never complained that the music was loud cause I would have turned it down immediately.

Let me tell you guys what the problem was, I did not let her into my car until she had verified her name.

When I first got to the pickup, she was trying to open my door, which was locked. So I asked her through the window for her name and she started shouting right there that that’s not how its done, that I’m supposed to let her in my car first before asking for her name, na wa.

I just weak at some people men. Is that how you let a stranger in your house and then ask for name later?

We should not berate the dead, especially if we don’t know how it happened.

Even me, I don’t know what shrine is, so I could have picked up someone from there and not even know, then tomorrow I would be berated for being a newbie.

May God continue to protect us with the blood of his son Jesus Christ.

Okay, let me respond to this current post first...if it is 9 and u r seeing 6, does that make u right?
Everybody is right in his own decision for his life not towards a set truth. If u deviate from the truth u r definitely wrong.

To the previous post, I meant u r right in the first thought in your first paragraph not the second thought in the second paragraph. Hope u understand.

Or maybe u mean I shouldn't have said u r right or not but just state what the correct thing is? I really want to understand what u r trying to say.

Second option is almost same thing I currently get from Option 1. But it's guaranteed. So it's still better than option 1

See now, that I saw 23k instead of 2,300 did it make me right?

She felt embarrassed that you locked her out and the only way she felt she could get back at you was through what she did.

Me Sha, I'm never embarking on that trip. Have never picked, or gone to pick any shouter over the phone. Have never completed a trip with a shouter. Always doesn't end well. Always. There is no diplomacy. I once picked a surge trip request from ago palace to Ajah. Got to the hotel and they loaded their stuff in the boot. I even helped them load their stuff. Woman with a baby started shouting over my supposed route. Maybe she mistook me for her husband. I didn't wait to find out. Got to the street junction, parked and told them to get the fvck out. Everyone I've ever walked out of my car has been a shouter, except on one occasion where the stupid girl put her legs on my dashboard.

You shout at me, I shout back, I walk you out. Then I report your skanky arse to bolt before I leave that spot. I don't beg. Too many trips to complete for someone to hold me ransom over one, with their uncouthness.
