I am on a dependant visa and applying for a job on the NHS website which offers Tier 2 sponsorship. fillin in my current visa status, at what stage will I notify them that I need Tier 2 sponsorship |

AirBay:If the portal does not ask for your status, wait till interview stage. If they don't ask at interview don't raise it either. Make them give you the job first, during the pre-employment checks they'll find out, then you can start to settle the matter then . If you're what they need, they might go the extra step to sponsor if the role allows. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

In layman's term, does this mean that going forward, the NHS coverage will only be free for a total of £86, 000 worth of service over the course one's life time? Like you have £86000 worth of credit points to use? These tax never reach? Is the social system -NhS....- amongst many others not the reason why many people choose the UK over USA. If these things shrink without increase in pay, no be to go USA go hustle the money then? Because taxes dey increase salary no dey increase, which kind life be this

dupyshoo:don't forget once a soldier always a soldier,... most people change when a particular wayward lifestyle no longer satisfies their needs,... no money coming from it, they feel they are getting old, very reduced advances from men, etc.... but once it continues to satisfy the initial need which made dem venture into such lifestyle they wont change...and if pressured even after abandoning such lifestyle , they will still be indulging in it passively and secretly... they won't change..... only very few change because if the word of God that is what is affecting most celebs today..... look at the case of NEDUs wife, BOMA of BBNAIJA... 1 Like |

Bluetherapy: This is referring to social care costs, not medical treatment. In other words, when you are old (or not old) and in need of care, if your bills over your lifetime for your eldercare and whatnot exceed 86k, the government will pay the rest. If you have less than 20k in assets when you need care (not only eldercare), then you wont have to pay towards the cost of your care. Prior to this, elderly people sometimes have to sell their homes to cover the costs of social care. The NHS remains free at the point of use (it is funded from general taxation). 5 Likes |

Just check on booking.com. Enter your destination-location, e.g Southampton. Filter all you are looking out for, e.g: 1 or 2bedrooms, apartments/houses, private bathroom, free cancellation, etc. and you will see lots of options and their prices. P.s: you will enter your check-in and check-out date as well. elisinho: 1 Like |

Hello ladies and gents in tech kindly advise. I have seen some questions relating to this previously but i need well tailored answers pls. I have a close family member who is highly considering a career move into tech. She's done some years in the medical field- NHS but looking to make the move once ILR is set soon. So basically looking at a gradual landing into tech. We have been looking through various IT conversion MSC at universities but IT is vast so can you advise what IT courses to look into. Preferable a course that will give room to narrow down into sub-specialties much later. Some of the courses currently been looked at but not limited to: https://www.qmul.ac.uk/postgraduate/taught/coursefinder/courses/computing-and-information-systems-msc/ https://www.kent.ac.uk/courses/postgraduate/243/computer-science https://www.bbk.ac.uk/study/2021/postgraduate/programmes/TMSCOSCI_C/#entry-requirements Kindly also advise uni programmes that you think might be helpful. PS: We are thinking going into the university would give a more tailored direction and help build the basics other than self study online - Nano degrees and all. |

I will recommend information security/Cybersecurity. It's a struggle to recruit people into the field. We have done 3 different recruitment campaigns in my team with no success. If the person is hardworking, the person can start earning up to 40-50k within 2-3 years. It is worth mentioning that the person will need to keep learning as you will need to be knowledgeable about other IT fields. Ace2013: 2 Likes 3 Shares |

Information security in itself is very wide, how much more IT. You can branch into security risk assessments, security architecture, forensics, incident management, Vulnerability assessment/penetration testing, Security operations, security audit, devsecops among others. So, it is very wide. Ace2013: |
