It's not about the million. The money must cover your outstanding tuition fees and maintenance fees in the UK and must be in your account for minimum of 28 days.

Please when can calculating your POF just use 600 to be on the safe side. This person is denied because of less than 300 pounds. Painful

That is because 13m is probably the required amount that covers your fees and maintenance.

Someone else could still apply with 10m and get a CAS

If your application is genuine then you got nothing to worry about. Even if you are going to stay with someone you still need to convince them that your maintenance money will be available to you in the UK.

I guess their attention will be on your interview answers and financial requirement.

If costs is solely her reason for doing a PGD she can get masters of 11k per year which is probably what a might cost too. I don't think PGD qualifies for the PSW but I'm not too sure

I'm in the process of migrating to the UK thru the student route. currently working on my visa application. But my question is.... after schooling for 1 year (masters) and exhausting my 2 years PSW. what is my fate because I don't want to spend all this money and at the end find myself returning back to Nigeria. my goal is to relocate permanently.

According to the uk gov website it £470. That’s all you need to know, the equivalent in naira depends on where you are charged.

It is not illegal and I a guessing you gave applied already.
