Will function well behind the strikers
Iheanacho isn't a born striker

God bless that Philosopher guy who said we should be playing 3 strikers upfront!
Based on the talents we have right now, this is the era of strikers all playing upfront. The likes of Osimhen, Sadiq, Moffi, Awoniyi, are mobile and versatile. These players can provide both goals and assists and can switch to the wings and back at any point during match time. They can provide crosses. Something some of our natural wingers struggle to do.
For us to produce the very best results we should only entertain exceptional wingers. For me we have just one at the moment, and that's Chukwueze. And maybe Ademola Lookman if his switch is approved on time.

Need I add Iheanacho? What else do we want?

My goodness!
Moffi has matured..
The guy practically won them that game against the raining champions!
There's no way he's staying at FC Lorient beyond this season!
Good ball carrying, movement and anticipation to bury that difficult chance..

He was even the one who started the move from the centre.

If he can get double figures in both goals and assists this season I'm sure he'd get better offers than the last window

Trophies, not just qualification. It's been close to ten years since we won the AFCON.

Gernot Roth is handling one of the most talented squad in African football currently So he has no excuse whatsoever not winning at least one competition with it.

We want trophies!!

Kelechi Iheanacho could make his 100th Premier League appearance for Leicester. He previously played 46 top-flight games for Manchester City.

You may have a point, but we need a master tactician
who will take all these talents we have and make something beautiful out of it.
Does he need an attacking midfielder? The possibilities are there
He can try Tosin Kehinde (the manu loanee now in Denmark)
He can even pick up Muazum (our former u17) from cd nacional in the Portugues second division and polish him up.
The man has no excuse for failure.
He can also monitor nwakali, alhassan yusuf, samson tijani as they are central creative midfielders not to forget Obinna nwobodo in Turkey
He can try and get his winning formular from here.
We have good wingers and strikers and decent defenders.
he needs to take us to the next level
I sometimes wonder if Supernerd on this forum does not have more information about our players in Europe
and Bascovancelli does not have more information about our players in the Nigerian league.
He has resources at his disposal to perform some magic.
Does he really monitor our players and have knowledge of how they play?
Coaching is like been a father or mentor.
A mentor has knowledge of his wards and how to get the best out of them
He has been with these players for 5 years and has access to a scouting network and he
at least has experience as a coach. After all, he is not a novice to coaching

If not that alot of us feel that Osimhen should always start, i feel a terem Moffi and taiwo Awoniyi combo will be totally disastrous against the opposition.

Afcon next year..lets see what he does. Remember the season is just starting, A player from no where can be the final puzzle in the jigsaw puzzle. During Westerhof's time.. Okocha and Oliseh came on the scene from no where.
