Please advise me on how to go about this. My sister recently got admission to study in one of the Federal Universities in Southern Nigeria however, she has forgotten the password to JAMB CAPS site and also the password to the email that was used in creating her profile on JAMB site. Truth is that she was not the one who created the email used in setting up her jamb profile, she walked into a cybercafe to do that and the guy that created the mail is now no where to be found.
On the JAMB site, she has applied to reset her JAMB profile password but the link to do so was sent to the email which she does not have access to. She has tried to reset the email password but all to no avail since she does not know the initial password the cyber cafe guy used.

Please what can she do? She needs access to the JAMB Site in order to print her admission letter and other things.

Or better still she should go to jamb accredited center.

She should try her phone number. Dats what they use mostly as password for those jambites

Try resetting the email's password using her phone number.

tell her to use 1-5 as password,that's the general psswrd..

These are things one can do from the comfort of their home. No need to go to a cyber cafe. She should try retrieving the password to the email with her phone number na.

People hardly want to do any work these days. In those days we would’ve run to JAMB office to ask for a solution, before coming to a public forum for help. She’s about to lose her admission and this is the best she could do so far?

Is it not possible to Create another account, and print admission letter using her Jamb registration / exam number?

Also, which phone number was put on the Email, is it the Cyber Cafe guys own? Because, if it's her own, she can definitely reset the password for the Email.

But what were you people thinking all along for this kind of thing to happen?

Someone from Jamb office can reset the password from the back end of the website. They can also retrieve the password or change the email address registered on the accounts.

She has jamb slip and registration number. She should locate a jamb office. Go in company of a an adult that is persistent and persuasive. Go as early as possible to the jamb office and beg them for assistance. They should be able to guild you on what to do. No forget to carry money along.

my dear , just go to any CBT center not cyber cafe.... Check jamb.gov.ng for the accredited center.

They dont need a password to login
they just need the phone number, reg number or email address of the candidate
