So, I've been using Airtel night plan for a long time now. Right from when it was #25 for 500mb. Now it's #25 for 250mb but I noticed something lately. It not even up to the 250mb. I was downloading a 200mb file and next a am getting a notification that My data is exhausted and the file was at 180mb. Today I tried browsing after subscribing and it wasn't even browsing atall but My airtime was deducted. Please is anyone else going through this or I should just break the sim now?

What do you do with 250mb. Is it not a smartphone you're using?

I abandoned airtel about 3 months ago. Their data service was becoming so poor. I'm using mtn for now and it's serving me well

Or how many megabits does he need to do it?

What I have noticed about Airtel is that anytime there network is bad just know that your data will be zapped anyhow

Once u sub 4 d data.ur phone background app wil start sucking with pipes.moreso ur browser been on high data saver wil do more damage.mtn sef dy do e own.buh nt as much as dis ya own.

my pipu.airtel no gree give me my 1.2gb o.dat was d last day i used it 4 night sub.had to borrow my broda mtn to start d night plan.buh d money pain me.i was to download albums of music den.

MTN night plan is still the best as far as night plan is concerned....
But sometimes MTN can be very trickish....
So you gotta be careful when dealing with them.

OP don't you know your phone runs background app that consume data, even the site that you click on shows a lot of ads that consume data... If I do Mtn 500 MB, I can only download stuff of 400mb

and you people were saying chad have the most expensive data package the other time, when nigerian network providers use straw to drink your data

It didn't even work for me. For like 2 days now I couldn't subscribe to the night plan. Something is definitely wrong!

I think this background apps and how heavy a site is can also cause this thing naa.. .. Ogaa switch to MTN, and don't use chrome for your downloads so when the downloading stops, you can continue. mostly chrome doesn't resume downloads when the network is switched or an interruption occurs. .

Just move to MTN.

Airtel data is just rubbish. They suck it anyhow, night plan or not.

u've some apps running in background, so try and deactivate them.

Currently Glo is still manageable than others.

Immediately you open your data.... Some data consuming apps like whatsapp,FB, YouTube even your phone launcher will be running background.... So you can't be able to download a 200mb file with 250 MB subscription... You'll need up to 300 MB data

Background apps and high data count causes it

Airtel midnight plan is big scam , i stop subcribing to it a long time ago. I prefer Glo midnight plan .

Check your data usage from when you subscribe to be sure another app is not using your data. Some phones monitor on a daily.
