It is estimated that there are over 350,000 armed bandits in the north, whether you believe it or not you cannot easily defeat such a large armed foce easily especially if they go guerrilla on you sheikh gumi 100% correct even though I don't like the man you know we Nigerians cam be very sentimental even government.

If you remember last year a report came out last year that ipob has recruited over 50,000 guerrilla fighters (ESn) i was a bit shocked because i was afraid that igbos cannot afford another war with FG the first one was unsuccessful and casualties were high so i expected Nigerian army to crush ESn in less than two weeks, but i was wrong and naive,Nigerian army together with DSS and police couldn't even flush them out of imo, since December last year now this year is almost over and they are still operating, guerrilla war has no end this days it has become a psychological war rather than physical it's too tiring and economically draining and that's why the worlds is avoiding war.

Let's leave sentiments behind declaring war on bandits of ipob will be a long oand tiring one, 30 years to come we are still on it and guess what our economies and civilians suffer for it well no need for much talk do we even value human life in this country?

A house that's divided against itself cannot stand. Until, there is a difference between Bandits, Boko Haram, Herdsmen AND the Nigeria Security forces, the WAR is far from being over.

As presently constituted, the security challenges is still at the early stage. It is business for the highly connected.

they can be 10 million and still be wiped off the surface of the earth by appropriate WMD. No doubt about that, the main issue is Islam and Banditry, they seem to be on the same page and that's q big problem for our military. Therr would always be some devout Muslims from the North who would be sympathetic and therefore sabotage our efforts one way or the other

The question should be if the Nigeria government wants to defeat the bandits. And judging from the government actions, I think the answer is no.
