Sure I can explain , car business is not that easy for people who bids online through Copart or other various Auction site due to high exchange rate in converting Naira to dollar which will definitely take more of their budgets but with you overthere , the expenses will be cut short as you will have access to dollar to make payment for whatever you want to buy overthere and take care of the shipping fee by having good shipper because there are shippers overthere who help in doing that to make things easier sir .

All depends on where you are going to and what you plan doing there and the means you are going with.. Express Entry for PR ( Canada ) and Schooling too. You just need to know the requirements to get into a school there, same with USA but I am not aware of USA have anything like express entry . Then Uk you can through MSc then after that you have 2 years post study visa to stay and get a job.. there maybe other requirements after the two years

Lol, that’s not apply to me sir , no one is asking him to bring money , I’m a clearing agents, I clear for dealers and likewise individual sellers , so I know what I’m saying about the car business , once he’s bringing in the range of cars in Vogue , he will be handling it himself right from there , he can use one or two cars for a start , it’s not necessarily he spent up to 10million before he could start to be on a safer side

Please don't push this man into this car business if he is not based in Nigeria... first dollar is about 560 as at today September 16th 2021.

You know very well that those that will make the most profit will be the agent and seller, the owner will be so frustrated that he might likely sell those cars at a loss.

Some Nigerians could be very wicked, they will trick you to a point where you will be stuck and have no choice, I bought a car from a dealer last year December in the US, prior to the purchase, I called the so called agent over 5 times to confirm the clearing cost, this guy assured me that I will pay no more than 4.5 million, excitedly I bought the car, shipped.

Guess what, when we started the clearing process and asked again, this stu-pid boy told me the 4.5 was if we bribed customs but the car could be impounded, eventually I paid 7 million to have no issues.

My point here is this, Nigerians will lead you with all these sweet promises and assurances, at the end you will cry at your loss

My simple advise, change your naira to US dollars, keep it at the bank, one day you will figure out what business to do without coming to nairaland to ask people who have never had a balance of 500k naira(at least for a month) to advise you on how to manage 10 million naira.

Firstly, it depends whether you want to startup the business either on a large or small scale. Howbeit, there are several suppliers you can buy from either in bulk for cheaper rate from oil gas and firm like Nipco or at retail price from several suppliers.

If you want to startup cooking gas business in Nigeria on large scale (wholesaler), getting a land for this business is very important. According to the requirements of the Department of Petrol Resources (DPR), the land you want to situate your gas plant must be at least 15 metres away from any building containing flammable materials. Make sure not to site your land close to residential building, filling stations, etc. this is in accordance with the DPR, so that you will be passed fit to commence the business.

The capital needed to startup this business on a large scale is about 10M - 15M. Your capital should cover the necessary equipment and materials needed to commence your cooking gas business so that the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) can access them and possibly grant you the license to commence your business.

So to answer your 3rd question accordingly, there is a license if you intend to startup the business on a large scale. In order to get licensed by the DPR to commence your gas cooking on a large scale, you will need to put everything in place first including registering your business with CAC. Thereafter, you approach the DPR to get a copy of the terms and conditions by which the DPR issues their operational license or you visit their website online so as to get the necessary details if you don not want to visit there in person.

That said, in order to get the DPR to license you to operate your cooking gas business in Nigeria, you will be required to get the permits listed below:

- Police Report
- Fire Planning Approval
- Town Planning Permit
- State Land and Physical Permit
- Department of Petroleum Resources License

NB: You can visit the Department of Petroleum Resources to know the steps on how to get various permits needed.

I will also advice you to get insurance for your cooking gas business.

As regards your 2nd question how its being sold, cooking gas is always sold it in terms of its mass. The major factor determining the volume of the cooking gas is its pressure and temperature.

As regards your last question, it can be stored for a very long time.

There are a lot of business, yiu6 can start and make good ROI.

Bro, you are about to take a great decision that will make you happy or sad in the future , so you must be very mindful of steps or business you venture into considering your absent with in the business location. To be candid if I am in your situation I will
Look for well structured buildings with shops in the Front to buy without going through the trouble of building one . If I buy the building I will start recouping my investment immediately till thy kingdom come.
Secondly I will buy land property and fence it where my parents will be monitoring it .
About the building you will buy ,an agent or lawyer will be in charge of it while your account will be credited direct by your tenants . Note the location of the building matters alot .
I can show you a thread about building and a reliable contractor with proven track record who you will study and make you findings . He is a Nairalander that managed a lot of clients in abroad.
