If buhari can be president of Nigeria all this while, then even any keke driver is fully able to be president of nigeria.

Why are they really scared of giving power to the Igbos?
Do they give power or power is earned? Wake up & smell Banga soup or abacha.

A welcome development. I wholly support a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction. However, it's not just to show support, the candidates must put more action to it.

With active connivance of ibos.....
Its only when they lost power to Apc that they began singing marginalization and waking the ghost of biafra

If an iboman becomes president he should be ready for civil disturbances and disorders as they are currently doing to this government.... he should be ready to treat secessionists with kid gloves the way ibos are urging him to treat seccessionists under this government.....he should be ready fill all sensitive positions with ONLY ibos they way they are accusing this government and he should be ready for opposition and hatred from yorubas the way ibos have hated yorubas for being a part of this government......its tit for tat and nothing will pacify us even if the ibo president makes Lagos Dubai or turn ibadan to London

Btw can't the south east scout competent candidates who are not career politicians like most of the ones on the list? I don't know about Peter obi but aside Okonjo which I can vouch for her leadership prowess those other names I just de look them.

Jokers true true why staying in Lagos State to choosing your next president, why not in Enugu. I thought they said they want BIAFRA. Which one should we give them now, BIAFRA or presidency. These ones just want to give Lagos APC their hard earned money for free. Well those monies will be reused to continue to builds Lagos State more beautifully and nice.

The candidates were shortlisted from five states of the South East geopolitical zone. From Abia State, they listed Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), [s]Prof. Ngozi Okonji Iweala, Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and former Abia State governor, Orji Uzoh Kalu.[/s]

From Anambra State, they listed former governor of the state, [s]Peter Obi, Charles Udeogaranya, Ben Obi and Henry Okolie-Aboh[/s]. The candidates listed from Ebonyi State included the state governor [s]Dave Umahi, Ogbonnaya Onuh and Anyim Pius Anyim[/s]. In Enugu, they picked Geoffrey Onyema, Prof. Barth Nnaji, Nnia John Nwodo Jnr and Ike Ekweremadu. For Imo State, they listed Emeka Ihedioha,

Rochas Okorocha, Kema Chikwe and Humphrey Anumudu.

I don't trust the body language of Ike Ekweremadu and Rochas Okorocha (though I love both. I was expecting to see Charles Soludo on this list my sure best plug.

Good move.

I am impressed.

This should be the foundation of a more robust discussion on the road to Aso Villa 2023.

I am in.

Op, let me know when this discuss gets more serious because I have projects and programmes to spice up the IGBO journey to Aso Rock Presidential Villa
