Governor Akeredolu, SAN, they should just stop the Southern Governors Forum meetings. It is better for each region to work their freedom out. None of the South East governors attended the meeting at Enugu. The Enugu State Governor was not present, he was just at home. If Anambra and Ebonyi State Governors cannot support Enugu State Governor to host other governors, then Enugu State Governor himself was absent. If the meeting had taken place at Abia, Enugu State Governor would not have been in attendance.

The reality is that no governor from the South East attended the last meeting.

Governor Akeredolu and Emmanuel Udom of AkwaIbom should wake up. The South East is not with them. They only use Southern States governors forum to pull South West Governors to fight battles against FG.

During Obasanjo era, the Forum was used for Littoral States battle (abolition of Onshore / Offshore Oil dichotomy) and payment of 13% derivation . The battles were led by Tinubu and Chief Olusegun Osoba that time. South East governors were very docile. Governor Attah made noise because majority of the oil wells in AkwaIbom were offshore.
