As I was reading your thread, tears was just flowing down my cheeks. Honestly, I detest when people always lay emphasis on prayers. Right from independence, people have been praying; yet nothing has happened to change our present predicament. Mind you, God does not build a city, nor does he build a nation. The wrongs that are happening in our country can only be changed and corrected by us. What we usually pray to God for in Nigeria, is being provided by the Government in third world countries; and that is to say, there is no God anywhere that can work miracle in our case. The miracle can only be done by us and the Government. 2 Likes |

People woke up, got dressed, stood under the sun and actually voted to continue with this present administration in 2019... Hmm!!! Their judgement and eternal punishment will be far worse than that of our politicians. 2 Likes |

Terrible. Poverty and Austerity na very bad thing if not wetin normal people dey find for wastebin...When you're hungry (Local, state or federal govt won't come to your rescue). When you're Sick( Doctors and pharmacist won't give you drugs for free). If you go broke, you may end up having no shelter and roof over your head. Grace, Destiny, Preparation, Favor, Chance and Opportunity has seen alot of us beyond poverty. If the Country like make e somersault we go still dey alright. |

Afonjashapmouth: Agreed! do u know way back in the 90s it is very uncommon to hear some body commit succide because the economy was too hard. I know I'm people who went back to the village when they couldn't cope with city expenses. Succide is now becoming common, and the this harsh reality that the fall of naira has brought. We should expect increase in crime and more succide. The odds are not in favor of the downtrodden and the poor. Unemployment will rise and even the middle class citizen should prepare for the worst |

The picture looks fake and even photoshopped. To even make matters worse, the story sound so much like the usual PDP propaganda. Before you begin to quote me and falsely accuse me of being an APC supporter, be informed that I am anti-APC and anti-PDP. |

PlanToSucceed: It is quite disturbing you must say. I have personally observed this same trend too and i can tell you that it was a horrible experience. When you wake up and see food to eat, just thank God because there are somany that don't have. Nigeria has made us to believe that our lives does not matter to the elite and the previlleged few. Well, we must strive to live. If you have, give those that don't have. Together, we can affect humanity positively. 1 Like |

What I experienced yesterday was worse. I was coming back from work in a a commercial bus suddenly the driver stopped, apparently there was an accident, a bike man was hit by a car who ran away we were told and people were just there taking pics and feeling pity for the guy (some persons even knew him from conversations ongoing there). I quickly rushed down and told the driver to discharge every other passenger and we tried to put him in the small bus. At that point his body was straight like who is dead but I can't really tell if he's still alive so I was to sit at the edge of the bus putting is leg on my leg while someone else hold his head. To my surprise everyone started leaving the scene and said I'll put myself in trouble that police will pin everything on me and the driver. The driver and I pleaded with them that if like 10 persons follow us to the hospital and explain the same thing, that cannot happen but our pleading fell on deaf ears. We had no choice than to drop him back beside the road. I've never been so close to a "lifeless body" in my life. I felt traumatised and helpless. I can't raise kids in this country. People are mentally dead. 8 Likes 4 Shares |

Today, I bought 12.5 kg of cooking for 7100 from restopark in port harcourt. I felt so terrible and pained that I ve to pay that much for cooking gas. Something is terribly wrong with Nigeria and its getting worse every day... Perhaps, gas will sell for 9k per 12.5kg before Christmas. |
