Some days ago when I read in the news that the UK is showing some muscles to China along the Taiwan straits, I laugh in Gibraltar. Surely, they dare not dare the Russians. Lol. The thing really pains france. Some Brits were castigating d French for wanting to build a noisy,diesel powered submarine for ausie,but they forgot that initial deal BTW France and Australia was to build a conventional sub,cos Australia has no nuclear power,hence d deal on diesel sub.
I agree that both UK and us are opportunistic in suddenly agreeing to build a nuclear powered submarine knowing fully well Australia is not a nuclear power country.
