Ogbeni his responsibility is to the airline and that's to fly from point a to point b upon adequate clearance and safety. If the woman wants to get angry let her talk to the airline management she paid not the pilot

They used Engineers to scrub their toilets no body spoke up...
They turned to the Doctors and used them to drain the soakaway..yet nobody spoke for them
Now they've come for the pilots and the pilots are saying...no way...imagine some passenger saying "after all you are just like a driver"..

Passengers are the cause 99.999% of the time. Have you seen the way passengers will heap insult insult on these people over small disagreement or discomfort?
I've never fought with any of them because I maintain a cool head. I always have their change, comport myself jejely, and don't start abusing them if something's not going right.

Customer is not always right abeg... I hate that nonsense. Respect is reciprocal, and if you disagree with something, you can bring it up in a civilized manner and we can see how to resolve it. Off my plane please.

That was exactly the reason the Pilot was out of the cockpit in the first place. If he had no intention of communicating he would simply lock the cockpit and sleep off till he get clearance of safe. Weather

I watched a documentary on Discovery channel some years back when a depressed pilot deliberately crash landed a plane in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

He is also human...he was upset...like the woman...I'm sure he's exhausted all avenue to appease that woman ...the Airline is responsible and perhaps the issue had nothing to do with the poor pilot it may be avionics, mechanical or clearance issues with the airline ...make we self dey calm down

To me, the pilot hasn't professional enough.
Sensitive job like his needs young men with matured heart.
Even if the delay wasn't intentional he should have handled the situation better

He probably meant, to take them home safely to see their family.. he won't delay them on purpose, there might be malfunction or something

If a pilot is depressed, they won't even fly
There are procedures to determine depression level and such emotional issues before flight so they don't kill everyone on board(this has actually happened before - Andreas lubitz)

Then as a pilot, he should call comport himself better not in an unruly manner

Lastly if you put off engine midair, the plane will still glide over a long distance it won't just drop like a stone
