Nna mehnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

If you are Igbo then this is not the right place to ask this type of question, you should locate an Igbo Facebook group and there you will get your answers.

But if I am to answer you as Ngwa guy I think those things were in the past and it is always so among Igbo clans where onye Mbaise will not marry someone from another clan and where onye Ngwa will not like to marry from another clan and where onye Nnewi will not like to marry from another clan and where onye Awka will not like to marry from another clan.

These events happened in the 90s and early 2000s but it's fast changing as I now have a brother who married a woman from Njikoka in Anambra and also a cousin who married an Mbaise man and they are all living happily.1

YOU ARE NOT TELLING THE WHOLE TRUTH, THE MAJOR REASON IS BECAUSE NGWA PEOPLE, EAT HUMAN BEING THEY ARE KNOWN FOR CANNIBALISM.

Ngwa is a village known to be well-mannerd when it comes to tradition and custom, they value they tradition and custom more than any SH!T..Like during the time for masqurade a pregnant woman can't come and sit down say she watch masqurade.she may either deliver a live he-goat or she-goat if they don't do the needfull(they call it "isacha ala"winkAnd that's a whole lotta money ya know!!

So this is making our ladies to avoid that land, i don't blame them because not everyone can keep up to that tradition of their's....

...Talkin' out of exprience

I think the question should have been in the reverse. Why do other igbos marry Ngwa girls most?

I will start by teaching every here psychology as a sequel to what the poster I quoted said.

Have you noticed that stranger elements to any city always perceived their host as lousy, dull, evil and wicked. Yet the prosper in such places and builds houses. It is seen among Igbos and Yorubas in Lagos, come to Nsukka, students hates most of these indigenes. All these are psychological oriented! The settlers will always conjure negative stories about their host, just to keep on exploiting and dominating them.

Let me ask a candid question to every reader here, do you truly like the indigenes of the town your resides?

Let's narrow the above exposition to your questions now. Aba has from time immemorial been a heritage to the Igbo race, where businesses are set-up with zero capitals and gains are made. The pride of virtually every Igbo man; which seems a destination you need to visit before death. Aba is a native place of Ngwas...now apply the reverse psychology I describe above and see why even the smallest mistakes of the Ngwa race will be magnified above proportion.

Ngwas are industrious in farming. One of the criteria they normally use in marrying a lady is, how hardworking she can be in the farm. Their major means of transportation in the villages is bicycles; which makes virtually all their women slim and looks seemingly. Now the stress of living out their hardworking status makes some of them, exhausted and looks worm out. However, that is the pinnacle of their tradition and must be respected.

Their neighbouring villages women can not match their women in the resilience of House and farm work. Those who can come close is Mbaise; allegedly through folklore to be their siblings. But for the Umuahia's and Old Bende such lifestyle is alien to them.

Now most ladies who had lived among them and see such traditions as practiced among them as against theirs, tend to fear the ability to cope and accepted in the Ngwa families and clan. Because once you are not industrious in those areas as a woman, you will always be mocked to your face.
Those ladies rejecting to marry Ngwa men are scared of their lack of family training as against the Ngwa traditions being exposed.

Now the men settlers seeing the traditional trainings of these ladies, now tend to hijacked them with pecks of an easy life for the ladies. Who will gladly want to live less stress free life.

Yes! Ngwas are accused of cannibalism and sorcery. I have travelled virtually all parts of Nigeria in the course of work and tradition, can you tell me the village that their grandparents were not into such practice in Africa?

Around 2012 when I was in Ebonyi, my knowledge of reverse psychology and it applications made me come out from there and was even forced to take one of their daughters. My others colleagues were hated with passion. However, what I saw there is huge.

In Igbo tribe, families/people that attached much importance to ladies being industrious the most are Onitshas (Business) and Ngwas (farm and home work). Sorry to say the least, other ladies fear places with such tradition attachment; where they can't loose among as they wish.

Even till date, if you marry an educated Ngwa man, you must farm. Which lady wants that now?

Have you lived among them? I spent more than ten years of service with them, don't say what you don't know. Tell me your village and I will narrow your story to the world.

You know nothing about them. Mention your village name, so that reader with Google it as against cannibalism, let see the answers that will pop up.

When you are not versed and well educated: not attending university and graduating. You tend to speak from your mouth and from your brain.

If Ngwas are cannibals, I pray thee, tell everyone meaning of cannibal, tell everyone here if you have witness such.

The worst thing in life is twisting of histories and stories. Exempt your village from African and then you are not from a cannibal grandfather.

I heard you guys are like dwarf and primitive and also part akwaibom..pls is it true no insults oo

Fictitious.

All lies...if not all human in Aba would have been dead.

Now let me make you understand the make up of the city Aba...Aba is made up five main local governments and the sixth one partially, these includes their villages with boundaries with Portharcourt, Akwa-Ibom, Imo state.

I have patrolled these places. What is obtained there is seen everywhere in not just Igbo land but Nigeria. We have the evil men and the live amongst us.

Aki and pawpaw mind you are not from Ngwa. Hope they are tall in your eyes...this have to tell you that dwarfism is not Ngwa traits. You can say that they struggle kids and do child labour, I won't dispute that. Yes! You will see kids of four and five going to farm with their mother's. I believe this could affect their growth but not that every Ngwa man is a dwarf.

To the op...try and leave your comfort zone, travel to learn. Travelling is part of education. Look around you and find Ngwa people, compare their heights as against your village people.

I grew up in Aba.
If the descendants of two brothers staying a stone throw apart could still be at loggerheads with each other over who wrongly took the head of a cow during their forefathers' funeral; then ethnic marital inferiority is a child's play.

I Dey tells you. So petty and can carry grudge for centuries

I have been warning you Igbos to stay away from us...
I (we) know you don't like Ngwa ... I don't like you either...
You are Igbo ... I'm Ngwa... period...
Ngwa is not a sub group of any tribe...it a tribe on it own...
So you Igbos should mind your business...we don't give a fork about what you think....
If all ngwa men are like me by now all the Umu Onhunhu in Ngwa land would have been transferred SIX FIT BENEATH..
unity is not by force...

Ngwa people are desendant of DIOBU and his followers....Ngwa and Ikwerre are from the same Origin... until the splitted many years before colonization...
We Ngwa people hardly talk about you guys yet you can't get us off your lips and comments...
We will never be part of any union with you guys because our leaders DON'T LIKE YOU EITHER...
are you not surprised why we are yet to join the INFAMOUS....."WORLD IGBO CONGRESS"...
