Please I wanted to apply for tourist visa .. I knew I will register on IRCC website, but how will I know when to go for my biometric? And hope if I go for biometric @ VFS lekki hope they won't collect my int passport because I still wanted to apply for another country?

During the previous application.it was a virgin passport but now,he has 3 south African visas,3 Kenya visa, been to turkey, 4 expired schengen visas and 2 expired US visas. Five years was a long time to sit idle whilst waiting for the ban to lapse hence the travel history
Does he need to write to address the misinterpretation or just go ahead with his application?

This profile should fly but since there was a ban in place, he should give it a try....

Surely he will be ask on the visa form about the ban, is better he come clean and hope for the best.

Misrepresenation has a 5 years ban. You can only apply after the 5 years and yes you can be approved or rejected based on the present application.

I think how quick the process is depends on where you are applying from. You can check the canadian government immigration website to have an idea on the time it takes to process Canadian TRV application submitted in different countries .
I started my own TRV application in may 2021 , did biometrics June 2021 and got passport request mail last week and I have gotten my passport with visa stamped this week ( July). Please note I applied from a country in the E.U.

When I applied a few years ago, I used 3 months account statement and the closing balance wasn't much - less than 2k pounds. Just have proof of student status from your school though, attach BRP and do your biometrics. I do not think they asked for any other document.

So some one with already valid tourist visa can enter canada now?
Also, will there be any possible questions at the POE?.

Yes you travel to Canada now for visit but even after full vaccination you still need to present a negative covid 19 test result taken within 72hrs before you are allowed into the country

If your application is submitted before September 7 , 2020 ...u should reapply... check there website because that is the new instructions
