Depends on your location. Speedaf mostly delivers to your house or ask you to come pickup from their office.

Post office is just a new development that was explained to us today.

since I stay in Lagos island at least they must have an office in Lagos that I can go to collect my package before they return it to china, it almost close to 2 weeks now

Hello House, i am trying to purchase a pack of gel pens fro my architectural drawing works online from aliexpress. I just saw on google that there is a ban on Ball point pen imports. hi guys.. I noticed the items bought on aliexpress now is delivered by speedaf as three of my parcels has been delivered through them, but looking thru the thread lately, you guys already know that.
now question 1.
now does it means that parcels wont be delivered to the post office anymore?? and only through speed af now
2. how do i know its gonna be delivered by speed af using the tracking number.. i don't know how to identify..
3. can i change to my home address so it gets delivered there...

Update: So here is how it works, Speedaf doesn't have offices in all States in Nigeria, they only have their offices in major states/cities for now.
So whenever you have an item that is to be delivered to a state without their presence, they'll send to the nearest post office to you. They told me they sent my parcel to my nearest post office yesterday and I should wait for the post office to contact me.
This is for all those who have Speedaf-NIPOST as tracking update.

For now, I will partially agree with you. I have a valid functioning speedaf office in my place and I have had about three deliveries brought to the final address, though the address is about 45 minutes drive (another town) from their office. However I subsequently I contacted them that I will usually stop by to do self pick-up during my commute as I pass by their office.

Yesterday, I tracked one item and discovered it has "speedaf-nípost" as the latest tracking information.

Their office is still fully functional and the destination address for my parcel is still the same address they've always driven 45 minutes to do doorstep delivery to.

So what has changed? I'm not sure.

But you know what I think is this. NIPOST isn't so glad about speedaf's taking their mojo away from them and threatening to plunge them into irrelevance. So as NIPOST has legislative and government backing to accredit operations of logistic companies, they forced speedaf to collaborate with them with parcel deliveries, probably at an agreed percentage.

So speedaf China and speedaf Nigeria expedites the item shipping and delivery to the shores of Nigeria in line with their efficiency which trumps that of NIPOST. NIPOST then, in line with the agreed percentage of item, takes up their own share of delivery from there as the last mile carrier to deliver to the recipient, stealing the show in the process and giving the impression that they are efficient. Meanwhile their own delivery was local, taking over as sson as the parcel lands in Nigeria. Speedaf, in trying to play a smart one and not giving NIPOST all the shine they don't deserve decides to officialize the tracking update as "speedaf-nipost" so that people will know what's up and who does the job majorly.

About five days ago, a nipost official that I didn't even know has anything to do with speedaf called me about a tracking number that has been of contention as the parcel has failed to be delivered since July. She informed me that "she is at a place to pick up parcels and that the parcel I am looking for is also not there". But, for further explanations, she allowed me to communicate with the man in charge at the "office" she was picking parcels from and guess what? The man at the other end of the line turned out to be a familiar speedaf agent. This means that the office the nipost official was picking up parcels from was speedaf's office.

Now while this arrangement might not be a bad one as it helps speedaf deliver to addresses in remote areas where thy don't have offices, relying on the ubiquity of NIPOST offices to deliver to such places, it is dead sure that nipost inefficiency and greed will creep in at that "last mile carrier" point. Speedaf did not ask for payment for all the parcels brought to that remote address, but I am sure that that nipost official will demand money (as is the practice with nipost) by the time he delivers a "speedaf-nipost" parcel to me.

Post NL is the worst shipping encounter I've had with Aliexpress. It's funny cos i ordered my item just a day after yours, and their journeys have been identical.
I have also reached out to Nipost, and they said they never received the item. Mine is a phone, and I have tracked it on all available tracking websites, but no luck.
There's someone here who said he has received over 20 items with Post Nl, I'll like to know what kind of items he ordered and the duration from when he ordered to when he received it.
I placed another order after begging the seller to use Speedaf, he ended up shipping with Post Nl, i was really upset and have also given up on that order as well.
Last Update on Nipost website is EDI received, they are not even claiming that the item arrived here.
They say there's comfort in numbers, pls if anyone has any positive or negative stories about items shipped with Post NL, Pls share so we can approximate our fates.

Sellers don't determine which courier to choose. AliExpress assigns that.

Ordinary PTS worldwide shipping takes less than 10 days to deliver from Turkey.

@all how long does it take to receive refund on cancel order? I ordered a speaker and canceled d order after few hours cos i chatted the seller and he told me that they are on autumn break that he will send it later when d break is over so i canceled d order.

I think someone mentioned that it's items shipped from Hong Kong that use Post NL. I was feeling optimistic about my second order, but hearing that you have 4 pending means there's no hope.
It really is terrible because there's nobody to email or an office to visit, unlike speedaf. How can an item arrive in country of destination and nothing happens from then. Do the items get dumped somewhere or something.
I believe Aliexpress should have noted the lack of delivery when shipping with Post Nl, i really wish they'd make speedaf the exclusive choice for deliveries to Nigeria, atleast that way, we can have someone to hold accountable. Post NL is just a faceless shipping company with zero presence here.
I will really like to hear from the Luxiebong guy on the items he ordered that were shipped with Post Nl that were delivered, and the time frame.
I even called someone at IMPC and they said my item hasn't arrived, over a month since it got to destination country.

Even speedaf is confused on the 'speedaf-nipost' tracking cos they couldn't even locate the exact post office my item is. I've been to the general post office which is closer to me hence I was told it's not with them. This new update could spoil their business if care isn't taken.

It is not their fault that AE is handing them packages for locations were they currently don't have a presence.

They are new, cut them some slack.
