Day 2 ..... Capturing

I arrived the passport office at about 9am, we were asked to stay in the waiting hall (special candidates and DIY) and people were been called as soon as their payment has been confirmed with all needed vetting and stamping. I was eventually called for capturing around 12:40pm we proceeded to the capturing area (strictly no mobile phones allowed) and capturing was concluded around 1:25... After capture i was given a number and asked to come for collection in about 4 weeks time.

All the officers are approachable and willing to guide and assist.

DO NOT WASTE MONEY.. ALWAYS GO THE DIY WAYYY.. It is time consuming but worth it i must add.

Renewal is about 26k if you using DIY method, duration I am not certain.

Good morning everyone , I need to get my passport before the end of October , it is a renewal and I believe it shouldn't take more than 3 weeks. My boss has requested I bring my passport a week before the end of October to process my visa for trip to Dubai in November. How much is it and can I do it express and how much will it cost ?. This wait is frustrating. I renewed mine including change of name, did capturing since Aug 4 and they are not even answering or giving any time frame. It’s over 6 weeks yet nothing. And my former passport is with them which I need for travel.

Started the Process on 17th of July, 2021.
Captured: 22nd of July, 2021
Issued: 10th of September, 2021
Collected 21st of September, 2021.
As at 9th of September, my status was AA. So I followed the advise here to go and see the PCO, but was not able to see him and was directed back to servicom, which I tabled a formal complain with evidence, they took my details and said I should check back next week. I was still not satisfied, I went back to the PCO's office and there I met a lady in the office and explained my situation, she took my details and lo and behold it was issued the next day. Mine was just God's favour and I believe you can be favoured as well.

My advise (for IKOYI command), don't use any agent, and if you must use, they should be in the production room or PCO's office or if you have the funds express service. That should be about N60k or thereabout.

The system is not yet perfect, there are still a lot of issues. One should just pray to God.

For those doing renewal in Lagos and I think Abuja and Port Harcourt , your old passport number and NIN is printed on your new passport datapage with a new passport number.

I wish everyone the very best.

I experienced same. Send me a text I will give you someone's number he dropped it within two days without asking for anything though I compensated him. Cos those immigration officer will charge u exorbitantly if you ask them to do it

Good morning, please can I submit my application twice, because I submitted a fresh application in asaba since July 9th. Till now no response, and what I’m always told, is there is no booklet ☹️☹️☹️

Now I’m thinking of submitting in IKoyi and paying for express, is it possible?

Or if it isn’t PLEASE help suggest to me what I can do abeg �, I need the passport urgently

My advise is , if you have money go for express (if you want to use IKOYI). Alausa as you can read has no passport booklet at the moment and they are looking at January to get booklet. Maybe you try FESTAC (if you don't have money for express).
