To forestall future occurrence similar to this, Military should henceforth not be deployed to civilian training camp like NYSC, Military should not be used during protest, rally, or riots

All these u have said aren't a justification for the barbaric behavior of members of d Nigerian armed forces. All these training u mentioned, don't make them invincible. D only thing people fear is d gun they carry. Other than that, they are like every other human being on d street. Also, their so called training doesn't give them d license to harass civilians. The essence of d training is to enable them survive in combat situations. So there's no correlation between their training and d way they relate with civilians

For me, if there is no injury, threat to life or repeat occurrence, the female corper should just swallow her ego, suck it up and move on.

That's one of the experiences during NYSC

During my NYSC year at Nonwa, Tai lg in Rivers state, one aboki solder slapped a uniben student (name mike) because of simply issue, the guy no waste time, him return the slap immediately, the slap nearly fall the solder guy, na there we all come get moral, the halla, the stand for mike, until camp commandant intervened and took both of them away to his office for reconciliation. Parade end gbam, we asked the ladies to go to their hostels, the guys stayed back. At the end, the solder was reprimanded for slapping a corps member. Wen mike come out, we carryam for shoulder the shout and hailam as we returned to our hostels.

This would have been fun to watch....

Sadly in the military, there's no such thing as age differences the only respect you earn is with ur Rank and as a Lieutenant she is tho small n young but can still order a 50yrs old warrant officer to swim in a mud and he has no choice but to do it. What the Lieutenant did to the corper is one of the most slightest punishment anyone can do in the Barracks so expect her to be released in few minutes time
