I can't send or download any Media on my created Dual Apps, most especially WhatsApp Dual App, can't download pictures or send, can't save stickers, can't set profile picsture. It keeps asking me to grant Permission, which I've already done, but still won't work.. My main WhatsApp isn't like that, just the DUAL App.... Redmi Note 10

Deelaw: Ha! E be like fake/cloned Xiaomi Redmi don full market oh. So far you did not drop the phone or it fell. Kindly take it back. This is why I only buy fron Pointek and Slot. Only ever! My old Tecno Pouvoir 2 (2018) and Redmi Note 7 (2019) from Pointek are still running fine. They're with my siblings presently. The R9A and RN9 Pro are from slot and I draw ear for them. Na them I dey use for my YouTube videos. Please make una dey mindful where una dey buy phones from. Biko. 2 Likes |

atheistandproud: The phone has no issues at all and has neither fallen nor suffered any hard impact. Software is also officially up to date from Xiaomi. That internal shaking is currently the only issue so far

Deelaw: If you bought from Xiaomi Official Store on Jumia then Raya Care should attend to you. But if there isn't a major problem now them don't worry too much. |

tasonivan:I'll advice that you just use modded WhatsApp instead of dual apps if the problem persists. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Deelaw(m): 2:34pm On Sep 24, 2021 |
genius43: Yes, it was from Xiaomi Official Store on Jumia. It was among the first RN10 set that was sold. And as for Raya Care, where is there office located in lagos state? |

EU on the beat again, first it was ensuring OEM don't bundle their dailers and message apps for breach in Privacy. Now they are finally ensuring we no longer get charging bricks in boxes. Oh they also want a common charging port type.

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Broskyjames: 4:14pm On Sep 24, 2021 |
tasonivan:I have a theory that the phone can't grant some permission to the same app since both apps are identifical because it happens to my banking apps as well, everything works fine when using the dual app version of the banking app except when I try to save a transaction receipt, it brings this particular error that infers that it can't grant permission to media cuz some other app with same name already has such permission. Leave the Native MiUI native daul app and download any "daul app" app from the playstore if you would notice any different. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Broskyjames: 4:30pm On Sep 24, 2021 |
genius43:I think the bolded can only fly with flagship devices of which is already taking effect. Mid range to low end devices imo will still ship with charging brick at least for now. And I don't even see what will make Apple change from the "lightening" usb to type c in the nearest future. A company that has proven "stubborn" to some changes in the past and held it's ground. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 4:34pm On Sep 24, 2021 |
Broskyjames: They said all devices. As for Apple they will change. As long as there is a law backing it they will oblige. In France Apple still bundle a Charger and Airpods in a separate box along with the Smartphone because of a law in France which says so. Already Apple have changed the ports on the iPads, it is just iPhones and Airpods that are left 1 Like |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 5:29pm On Sep 24, 2021 |
WycliffeSMB: You will have to raise your budget a little to get the Redmi Note 10. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by WycliffeSMB(m): 6:06pm On Sep 24, 2021 |
genius43:That's really beyond my budget |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 6:46pm On Sep 24, 2021 |
WycliffeSMB: 1. If you are particular about something you shouldn't have a fixed budget. 2. You should be aware of our currency that is constantly losing value by the day. It is now currently at ₦582, so act fast. Even Barter currently charges ₦583 for Exchange. |
