1. Avoid eating oily stuff

2. Wash your face regularly- preferably with a face wash e.g neutrogena morning and night. You can use ordinary water during the course of the day and wipe with a clean face towel.

3. Try steaming your face regularly (not everyday, like twice a week) put hot water in a bucket and cover your face over it without letting the steam out. You’ll need to take breaks in between to breathe

4. When you wash or cleanse your face with a non oil based cleanser, you can use a toner ( but do so at least 15-20 minutes before you go in the sun.

5. For immediate effects, use a blotter. You just dab it all around your face. Make sure there is no sweat or water droplet on your face, it should be totally dry. If blotters are too expensive for you, try using Rizla, it works just the same smiley

6. Avoid or limit alcohol, especially spirits and shepe

7. Protect your face from exposure to the Sun e.g wear a face mask or use sunscreen (15-20 minutes before you go out in the Sun.

have been using funbact A cream for the pass two years now to no avail..
but for the alcohol base hand sanitizer someone here said is wrong using it..

I sincerely appreciate your opinion..

My face is always OILY and it also cause PIMPLES on my face because of that I stop applying cream on my face, and the resultant is causing pimples on my face..

even after taking my bath in less than an hour oil will pop out from my face even if I'm under an air-conditioned...
please how do I stop these.


Reduce intake of fatty foods and eat more of vegetables (fruits and soup vegetables)

Stop using cream and apply powder to your face when you're going out.
Wash your face at a regular interval with soap and make and always keep your face dry at all the time even if you have to use handkerchief.

Use toilet soap in bathing. Don't use any harsh soap o. Then try and use powder too. Finally, always have baby wipes with you to use instead of handkerchief cos of its antiseptic effects.
One more thing, your skin will normalize after puberty or young adult hood. I had the same issue but now, my face is as smooth as a baby's bum. grin

Get neutrogena acne control face wash, use it to wash your face.

Get a toner with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to clean your face, get zapzyt acne cream, apply after using the toner.

Do this twice a day.

In six weeks time, you'll thank me.

I used to have these too... It was soooo annoying and frustrating. Mine was even with blackheads on my nose.
I got tired of remedies.
One day I just watched a YouTube video where they suggested drinking lots of water. It sounded too basic to be true, but that was what helped me.

1. Drink plenty of water daily. You go pee tire, but no worries, it helps your kidney too.
2. Avoid direct Sun on your skin as much as possible
3. Use face scrub once or twice a week (I use St. Ives)
4. Use moisturizer

But then, if you have the funds, visit a dermatologist.

Eat fruits, Eat fruits, I repeat eat fruits regularly.
Avoid sponge on ur face for awhile.

Exactly. My acne was getting out of hand and wasn't responding to the products I was using. I changed my diet to include more fruits and vegetables. Then cut out sugar, bread infact anything that has to do with flour, plus drinking water frequently. It has improved my skin significantly.

Get a white handkerchief with a small portable mirror to clean ur face each time it's oily, or get a soap and wash ur face each time it's oily and before sleeping every night,not necessarily medicated soap.

Above all, reduce ur oil (ororo) or excess of oil-rich food intake. Substitute ororo for red oil where possible.

Wash your pillow.
Avoid oily meals.
Drink more water.
Stop using unprescribed drugs.
Avoid fruit juice and sugar.
Fast ( first or last meal 12pm).

2.Don't scrub your face with sponge

3.Always move around with a handkerchief to wipe off excessive oil build up from your face

Lime might be harsh on his skin though...

Cosmetic and beauty stores. Just show them the name of these products, they will give you.

This is the toner I use cause I also have an oily face.

It will cost you like 8-10k sha.

The Neutrogena face wash is between 3500-5k depending on where you're buying.

Zapzyt is 6k

I used this combination to fight an acne I had.

I still use the face wash and toner to keep oil away from my face.

You should also get a good facial moisturizer.

The facial moisturizer I use is 5k.
