What's the best powersteering fluid for Toyota Highlander 2006 limited edition. The manual say Dextron type ATF. Pls which brand should I go for. The car is tokunbo just arrived.

I am seriously experiencing peperish smoke from my car, Toyota Camry Pencil Light V6 Engine.
Oxygen Sensor changed, Nuzzles changed, plug changed, Airflow meter is okay according to my mechanic but when I run at 100km/hr that hot peperish smoke will show face. Engine is not shorting oil rather it goes above the guage on daily check.


Please what could be responsible for this?

You have an exhaust leak. And your vehicle isn't properly sealed if you close and roll up your windows.

Hello Guru in the house.
The 2TR engine and gear in my Toyota Hiace Hummer Bus 1, automatic is having issue and I was advised to get another one.
To get another one, I will need between 1.3 to 1.4 m and I don't have up to that at all.
Can I replace it with M2R engine which is better in price compare to 2TR.
Can it work?
Then which expert can you recommend for me.

Note: no exhaust leakage and when I wind up it will not happen, is only when the glass is down.
Which other thing do you think might be responsible for that?

Good day house, I hope someone sees this and respond , for the past few days I noticed my radiator water always go down( low) which seems so kind of strange , with that effect, I tried to topple my radiator with another water but I noticed after driving for awhile , I noticed water and coolant leaking underneath the car which I tried to call my mechanic and told him about it , I took it to him for checking , he said maybe the radiator is dirty and needs so cleasing which he did but still the same thing, please what can I do stop fix this …. The water inside my radiator do go down on time and it’s showing some leaking underneath

What is the colour of the smoke ,if black then u have fuel metering issue and can be due to ecu receiving faulted sensor signal.
Change your mechanic and look for good technician that is good @ diagnosis to help u with this

Find a technican that has a coolant pressure tester to troubleshoot the leak .

fill with normal water and add some squeeze of liquid car shampoo.

Finally toook it to a coolant specialist, he did diagnosed it and noticed it’s one of those nuts that go rust and needs changing , he did change it and everything is working perfectly well now

Now, after coming back from a long distant driving and to buy something from the street, the car refused moving. The transmission oil LEAKS. I guess there is a leakage in the gear box.

Gurus, please what's the possible solution to this nightmare. Because, as a Matter of this, my car is parked in the street. It's been there since 12pm till now I'm posting this. It will sleep over.

The vehicle selects gear, but doesn't move both Drive or Reverse.

I had the sensor fixed on Saturday before embarking on the long driving.

You changed it or used fuel to wash it? If you used fuel, then it is best you change it. You should that there are 4 transmission sensors. 2 small and 2 big ones. With 10-20k you should change the 4. I am speaking for Honda Accord tho

I gave it to an electrician. He used their computer on it. But I'm thinking it's the gear oil that had leaked out, because it was leaking so much.

Note, the vehicle fires or gases well but doesn't move.
