I also have a friend I convinced to buy the Redmi 9T around April or May. So far her's been working just fine with no issues.
But anytime I see her with the phone sha, my heart will be doing somehow
Na make her own no come develope the issue too because she no go let me rest

I've tried both latest and an older version. It still says same thing.

I use this same site to download my FM WhatsApp. I think I updated it recently without any issue. Redmi N10P as well

Instead of encouraging him to hold on to the phone since noting has happened to it up till now, you want him to sell it off like passing a problem to another person to suffer. If your phone is still good up till now, don't be scared of anything as it is what you believe will come to you and updates are meant to bring good tidings to your phone. You guys should stop listening to that slave jassman of beast of no nation who steals mostly low end samsung phones.

Go for aeros whatsapp then, loads and lots of customizations, can upload 5 minutes video, direct status download and so much themes plus twerking like scheduled response

Am even using the aero versions of instagram and twitter.
