Omo, local man started preparing yam poridge at about 12am in the morning, just to satisfy her, considering her condition.

At about 12:45, i was done cooking. I served her the yam poridge but she rejected saying her baby craves for bean cake (akara). I told her i can't grant her what she is requesting for because as at that time, it was almost 1:30 am. Guess what? She legit started crying (lol).

Local man can not can na, i left her and went to sleep, you can't come and be stressing me untop pregnacy that is not mine.

I didn't visit my sis when she delivered cos I wasn't around...

When I came in, after a lil time.. I don't know what she wanted to go and buy. She gave me the small uncle to feed.

Feeding that uncle was the slowest moment of my life.

He will still vomit it.

I nearly give am slap.

The thing pained me.

I spent up to two years feeding that guy I won't lie.


I hail all women who do this.

Here is mine: on this faithful Friday after work I went to check on my wife at her shop. I meet her attending to customer that was around 6pm so I waited till she was done around after 8pm. Unknowingly to me she was restless but manage to attend to her customer until when she began to act strange telling me at first she wants to pee, she quickly dashed to the back of her shop to ease herself. She came back and said she wants to defecate, I said ok let's go home since you have closed for the day. She ran again to the backyard to make attempt to defecate, this time I followed her but she said it's not coming so I was worried I asked her let's go to the hospital to check what is wrong. She told me to relax that she can manage till next morning little did I know it's just the beginning.
Around 9pm, her restlessness was intense and since we live in an estate and it's always every Mallam to his kettle. Luckily for me her brother was with us that night. I was begging my wife to please allow me take her to the hospital but she insisted not this night that she could manage till morning while she was still restless. Although all this while i was following her around the House like a guard.
Around 10pm her water broke while she managed to site on bed. That time my restlessness increases to raise to power 100 I don't know what to do next. All I could do was begging her to please allow me to take her to hospital. But she said I should leave her alone this time around I had to result to prayer. I began to pray at a point she went totally nude and was walking rounds the whole flat from one room to the other to toilet kitchen name it. This kept going until around 1am.
Luckily for us there was light so. When she couldn't bear it anymore she asked me to take her to hospital immediately I almost start to cry. Deeply in my mind where would I get a car or keke this midnight. I started calling my friends line to help me with their car behold non of them picked their calls. I couldn't remember anyone around my neighbour for help because my memories seems loss.
While I was thinking of what to do, her brother just wisper to me if he can run down to call a nurse living 3 street away from us. I just node in affirmation. While he ran to call my next flat neighbors before dashing down to call the nurse non of them responded.
From the other room I just heard her screaming that it's time, the baby is very near. I could not process anything than just to talk to her. I told her to please trust me on this, I spread bedsheets on the floor, gently lay her down and placed a pillow to raised her head up while spreading her legs to allow for easy birth........
Behold it was a bouncing baby boy, while I was trying to wrap the baby with clothes the nurse came in to help with the placenta and clean up. As God wants it I play the role of a midwife successful without any formal training.
It was after I calm down in the morning that I remember that my landlady has her jeep parked besides her flat. All this while it didn't strike my mind to call on her for help because I was confused....
Thank God the baby and mother are doing well and fine. Hopefully by October 10 he would be 6 months and I planned to celebrate little birthday for him. May God help me to....

Me.I couldn't just disturb my husband when he would get back home tired to go out and start looking for something. Make man pikin rest.

Honestly, majority of tlwhat OP wrote there, my wife never exhibits any of them, so when I see pregnant women saying that I just laugh hard....

The only think I feel my wife exhibit is headache between her first 3 month and she can even take her bath like 20 times a day, midnight she can bath like 7times before morning

God bless our pregnant women and make them deliever safely and also bless women who are looking up to God for fruit of the womb (Amen)

When my sister had her first pregnancy, I carry spit (saliva) tire . Even our mother couldn't bear it for long coz she is a type that gets irritated easily. My pregnant sister always felt helpless & I was the only one who would help her dispose the spit. She still mentions it anytime the topic about her first pregnancy comes up & that made her to like me more.

Just imagine I will go to work n attend to different class of customers then get home by 8pm to relax,eat n prepare for the next day then one woman will now tell me to go n get something in d middle of d night.

Asides the security risk,the first question I will ask her is if she will die if she doesn't have it Now?
What if I am not around?
What if I go n got attacked or killed cos it's late?

All bodies are not the same, some women glow up while pregnant while some become ugly .

Some have swollen legs while before you notice some are pregnant,they have delivered the bady.

Same way some can have normal delivery ,some require CS.

Only sensible men will understand my point.
