But then, what would they do?

The same North voted for Jonathan, the same North also have learnt that Buhari who seems to be from the North is not making things easier, it's more likely majority would vote for Osinbajo except if within the presidency, Osinbajo is blackmailed for some reasons or so

In a presidential democracy, the buck stops at the table of the president. The Vice President is only as powerful as the president wants. Therefore, he can’t do much on his own. However, it is a position that exposes the occupant to learn a lot about how to run the country as a president. Osinbajo is fully prepared and grounded to be the next president. He’s far better than all others that are currently canvassing for the office.

Even as vice president, he is far better than any v.p. before him. No scandal, calm and of international recognition. Only a country like Nigeria joke with their assets. The man is an asset.

Excuses upon Excuses.
Atiku while he was vp to obj was vocal and bold.
Ebele while vp to Musa was the brain and architect behind his 2020 vision.
While this Yemi is neither of the above yet he is serving in one of the most corrupt, nepostic and blood-letting administration in the history of this country.
And yet you are giving Excuses. And I bet you, you will still give Excuses.

But atiku was a crook!

Osibanjo should take several seats behind and let the best man for the job do it. After all, he helped put him in that position.

I won't appreciate any political rivalry among omoluabis.

Jagaban for president!

If you were to choose between Osinbajo an any other aspirant vying for presidency, who would you go for

But note, politics is a game of numbers, I meant someone who's likely to win. See you might a promising aspirant, Vela Durotoye, Moghalu, Sore etc, but the question still stands, are they likely to win

You downplayed the power of the office of the vice president because it involves Yemi. So that is why I gave the examples or 'drag'(according to you) of vice presidents before him.

See you guys don't know the danger of electing or planning to elect anyone who is part and parcel of this evil administration. How much more then a vice president who is directly involved than any other citizen of this country. That means PMB, his co, his cabals and his supporters will still be the ones managing the future of this country.

And if you know these things and are still supporting this man, then I will say that Nigerians are thier own worst enemies.

There is silent war among them in aso rock. They are not all on the same line

I am not particular about the VP but the northerners will fail.

They (the northerners) should go and ask their brother Abacha what happened and how he failed.

My only worry is that GEJ should not allow himself to be a fool and be used as a pawn in 2023. In 1999 I remember voting Olu Falae and being a heavy opponent of the PDP until 2011 when GEJ ran. But it looks like the PDP have mental health issues now with their telegraphed message of fielding a Northern candidate. Not a Tinubu fan but I have always had respect for the "Jag of all trades".

Anybody who can't fight in the face of oppression is a coward..
I may not like sowore, igboho and kanu but these people talked to some extent, they made their voices heard..

He wasn't docile when he had control of power briefly. Don't underestimate this man.

Understand this fact. THE VICE PRESIDENT IS ONLY AS POWERFUL AS THE PRESIDENT MAKES THE OFFICE TO BE.

Any sound mind will see the body language of Osinbajo to be that of an independent mind which is why the cabals are trying their possible best to block him by all means.

He believes in economic retstructuring and has fought the matter up to the supreme court when he was AG in Lagos.

He is the best man for the job.

Nigerians are so senseless that their ordeal is NOT about to end in the nearest future.
ANYBODY THAT IS IN ANYWAY, CONNECTED TO THIS DISASTER THAT WE HAVE AS GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT BE MENTIONED FOR 2023 ELECTION. Be it from East, West , North or South or you will all die here suffering. But Nigerians will never hear. Reason , they are already jinxed and are suffering for the sins they committed . Imagine comments I am reading on nairaland coming from those on whose name, Nigerian borrowed and keep borrowing over 33trillion with no single perfect infrastructure to show for it. Imagine 12.5kg bottle of cooking gas was N6,700 in my area yesterday and not even the Vice President is saying anything. He would rather keep mute and save his own skin. In a gas nation. Some dumb and hungry educated illiterates will come make excuses for him. Hunger and poverty know no tribe .I spit on the head of anyone who will come here to mention name of any known politician for 2023.People , I can no more cope with the increasing number of beggars disturbing me on the street , even my own street and on the phone . I am angry this morning

Best man ko, bread man ni! Man has no integrity nor principles!
I know you are a young man but go and read up why Ebitu Ukiwe left IBB’s government.
As long as this BDSM clown remains in this administration, it implies his total agreement with all the evils carried out by the mannequin.
Also, I struggle to understand how a man that believed sharing 10,000 to traders and youths will lift Nigeria out of poverty.
Do you all even know what economic intelligence is?.

He has Buhari's right hand and ear for over 8yrs...
He must have shared ideas with buhari, a vote for osinbanjo is same for buhari

It's not the same. He's limited. Second in command ain't the same as commander in chief.
