Suspected armed members of Boko Haram terrorists have invaded the Council headquarters of Damboa in Borno state shooting sporadically as they engaged troops locations.

Damboa is about an 85km drive from Maiduguri the state capital located centre of the sambisa forests in the southern Borno Senatorial District.

Due to the closing of the Maiduguri-Damboa-Biu 185km road, the resilient people living in the Council area have to spend more than 450km drive before accessing Damboa and Maiduguri.

Sources told our Vanguard that the insurgents stormed the community at about 5:30 pm, stressing that, many were feared dead and injured including the terrorists, with properties set ablaze at the time of filing this report.

It was a bloody Saturday for some gunmen in Anambra State as men of the Nigerian Navy stationed at Navy Junction, Awaka, neutralised them in a gun duel.



The gunmen, travelling in a red Toyota Highlander SUV, with registration number NSH 248 AE, according to the video recording of the incident, were all allegedly killed in the gun duel.

The video shows the interior of the SUV and blood-spattered, indicating that all the occupants were shot, as depicted by the blood clots on Tue foot mats.

The video equally shows the Naval officers inspecting the car, just as one of the narrators displayed the headwear of the occupants with the inscription, “vigilante” and a red knotted bandana, believed to be an amulet.

Trying that with Islam is an automatic death penalty as it is considered a Bid'ah (novelty/innovation). For example, many human right activists who try to repeal Islamic apostasy law were murdered in cold blood, mostly by their close associates and relatives. It's a different thing to gather people and form a cult in the name of religion and behave in any way you like, than to gather people and form a group whose sole aim is to go out and kill people in the name of religion.

Last week, am sure you said when Ohaneze was saying to ESN to fish out the gunmen killing people.

Now let me give you this scenario.
Last Dec when bishop Kukah made a comment that affected the Muslims, virtually all the "Muslim heavy voice" speakers attack Kukah.
Also, when some Muslim travelers were killed in Jos, there were same condemnation and threat of retaliation from almost same voices.

Have those same voices spoken out when the terrorists kills people. Am in Kano, the pastor that was killed by mobs, what have those voices said. The woman who was beheaded in kofar wambai just for saying to a Muslim not to do ablution in front of her shop, did those voices say anything. How abt the redeemed Pastoress that was killed in abj, where were the voices? Instances like this are what make people think otherwise about Muslims in Nigeria especially up north.
