Worshippers Electrocuted As Electric Cable Falls On Lagos Church

There was tragedy at El-Adonai Evangelical Church in Abule-Egba, Lagos, when an electric cable fell on worshippers during service.

Two adults and two teenagers were said to have been electrocuted in the incident.

Witnesses who do not want their names mentioned told Daily Trust that the church members were while trying to fix the church’s flag while making way for some officials when they got electrocuted.

The flag’s pole was said to have touched the electrical cable which triggered the shock.

The identities of the victims are yet to be verified.

Men of the state Fire Service were called in to prevent further damage to lives and properties while the officials of the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) were said to have been contacted.

Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Mrs. Adeseye Margaret, who confirmed the incident, said some of the victims were unconscious as of press time.

“The Ikeja Electric Distribution Company has been informed and consequently de-energize power distribution to the environment while rescue operations continue amid youth restiveness and tense area,” Adeseye said.

That's why one has to be prepared for eternity regardless of where one was, including inside a church building, because anything could happen anywhere, anytime, anyhow.

All this right here give unbelievers more reason to say that God does not save those who worship him in truth and in spirit.

Imagine those innocent kids whose only crime was preparing and going to church.

Anyways, God knows the best and why it happened, may their souls find rest before their maker.

Says a lot about you if you think a church builder worshipping God in truth and spirit would build their church under power lines.

Just by worshipping sense using a brain should make one seek some other church to worship.

This only shows that life is just by chance and luck. Anything can kill you, even mosquito. Doesn't matter how much you pray, death is sure. Just enjoy your life.
No god is watching after anyone.

Nigerian christains are the most gullible lot among whole wide world . previously they used to demolish pagan temples and shout pagan gods cant protect themselves and white god is the only solution.
now we are seeing day in and out christains being killed in hundreds every week across nigeria ,and the imaginary white god is nowhere to be seen in action undecided
