Don't rush this thing my guy otherwise you'll make mistake, you should be consentrating on how to make her visit the most memorable time in her life, her time with you in Nigeria will determine the next phase of the relationship, don't make her think you're desperate take your time if everything goes well on her visit and with God on your side then she can start the filling process; whether she files when she visit or when she returns this should be the least of your worries at this point of your relationship.

Pls guys I need answers.... My babe wants to come on the 18th of this month but interview/biometrics dates on Nigerian embassy sites is not available until Jan 25 2022....pls how else can she get visa to come here and has anyone done visa on arrival before here. Pls I need advise. Thanks

Get a good immigration officer . my fiance came 2019 through visa on arrival and paid a token at the point of Entry at MMA 2.. Although the I'm migration officers at the airport don't like to do it cos of the way some bad eggs guys here have abused it by bringing in foreigner here lodge them at the Hotel and rob them of their personal belongings

Where ever you put you documents does not matter you can put your documents in an envelop . The consular is not intrested in were ever you put your documents.

If you like put your documents in a gold bag they are not interested.

You can use this same plastic file case.. that's what I used during my interview (same colour). It helps in keeping your documents well-sorted

Maybe facial expressions would have mattered in the past but not now - COVID. Through out your time inside the Consulate, you are required to put on your face mask. So, no one will be seeing your facial expressions. I think that's a good thing though.


He only time you will have to take down your mask will be when the Consular want to verify it's you on the passport.

To the US embassy in Lagos, and your intent letter has to be an updated one ( the date must be recent).

Have it in mind that you might not be asked for it but it’s good to have it at hand for the interview, just in case.
