You can still get Funtuna in spar. Still sold in nigeria but only inside spar and big stores like shoprite too but the cost mehn

It's a normal practice in most advanced countries. Eggs usually stay on the shelf for two weeks max but in the poverty capital of the world it will stay till it shows physical signs of discoloration.

What always got me is how the prices of some of these commodities outside Nigeria are almost the same with what you get in Nigeria when you do the conversion. . . In the end, it looks like folks can not afford to buy basics in Nigeria not necessarily because the prices are out of this world but because they don't earn enough disposable income to have enough cash to make such relatively "easy" purchaser..

Not true. I've seen eggs from local farmers stamped. Na because you no dey used to this kind thing for naija.

Nothing of such in Nigeria, particularly the BB (best before), but stamped/branded eggs are available, e.g Funtuna Eggs.
