Saka and Tammy scored for England. I think, Fikayo has finally been captied now.
I pity for Tammy and Fikayo sha. Their chances of going to world cup is still very slim compared to Saka that has at least 60% chance of making it to world cup.

See what our mates Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia and Algeria are doing to small opposition. Using them to stat-pad. Meanwhile we're hoping to even draw an even smaller opposition tomorrow.

I don't think Rohr can mange our current crop of talents well enough. We need to look for a better coach, fast.

So you want them to play in a country that can't boast of a quality pitch?
A country that lost at home to "ORDINARY" CENTRAL AFRICA REPUBLIC at home. Damn, this thing still dey pain me even if they win tommorow. That's a big disgrace.

Check every other big teams in Africa results, they are all winning massively.

On point. I was about saying this. As an investor, my mind is always at peace whenever I picked Senegal, Morocco, Algeria , Tunisia to win .

But I can't pick Nigeria to win against CAR. isn't that Crazy?

Don't worry, the NFF will find a better a coach after they fail to qualify

We will probably qualify due to individual talents like Osimhen and Ejuke.

What happens when we meet the good teams though? How do we survive when we can't even create chances against teams like CAR and Cape Verde?

The last game we created and took real goalscoring chances was the Sierra Leone game. Before that, maybe the Lesotho away game. I won't count the Lesotho home game because I consider those goals as three lucky goals. Same with the Liberia goals.

We are struggling to create chances, and this is not only a midfield problem. Looking past our midfield, you'll notice our players are playing without any football sense. Simple one-twos are a struggle for them to make. Through passes, neat crosses, positioning, even simply paying your teammates into space have been problems for our team. The performances are too poor. I feel like we just have a bunch of big name players without team cohesion.

lol some of us havn't still found that out yet.. talking about calling player A or B as if that would finally solve the problem of our team playing well. We already have the players, same players for how many years now, and you can't still say what is our style.. the matter tire me.

One thing about NFF/NFA in the past is that they have pride. That could be a bad thing, but there has to be some balance.
Egypt rallied to draw Gabon away but the coach was fired.
Back in the days na indigenous coach dey suffer am pass. Even if they qualify for world cup they still get fired. Amaju use this juju man tie our neck.

No philosophy whatsoever, rohr is just a basic coach who understand d normal rudiments of d game, just like u and I....everyoda person here can do d job rohr is doing @ d moment.

The technicality aspect; to read games, change playing patterns to edge opp, make nice substitution is what rohr lacks

I doubt if d car team can beat a well tutored high school team wink

One thing I like about Oliseh, he has self worth. He was probably the first indigenous coach to resign. He believes he should get the same treatment as foreign coaches. We can't be racists to ourselves.

Personally, I would even prefer Oliseh back. When he was coach then, the environment and hostility from NFF was too much. That was the reason for all the controversy we had with him. One thing I am confident about Oliseh is that he will not sit down and watch Nigeria lose to CAR in Lagos just like that without screaming down the players at the touchline. He is someone that can fight and die for his country. I will always prefer a coach with personal attachments to the club or country over coaches who just collect salaries and are satisfied with mediocre resuts as long as they get to keep their jobs and salaries.

When I and a few others started voicing this out because we discovered early enough that the coach was a big time fraud, the shortsighted wereys in here always tried to justify the ineptness of the coach with their usual lines “there are no more minnows in African football”

I hope you also saw Ghana versus Zimbabwe shoreline with Molivan Rajevac back as their head coach?

Thank you for the epistle.
Losing to CAR is not my issue but the pattern of play.
There are issues.
Let me even ask which part of the SE fits right now. Our wingers are not jelling with the RB/LB
Defence has been conceding and making errors
Attackers are being starved of the ball.
Substitutions rarely make any difference.
I hope they can hire a tactician to him.
We will struggle against average organised sides

Nigerians truly have short memory, God forbid Oliseh becomes our coach. His tenure was very toxic, oliseh started a player physically unfit, it was so bad that the player had to be removed before half time. Abeg make una talk another thing

This is a very stupid thing to say. How would you leave the clueless one as the head coach, then assign the role of assistant to the tactician? Lol no wonder Buhari is our president while a professor is his deputy. The mentality of an average Nigerian is sickening
I’ve always found this ‘hire a tactician for him’ confusing, if he can’t do the job sack him and hire someone who can. No be him family chieftaincy title na
