A40:Dominating which league? Where? Come win am again Na..The last time I checked he is not the MVP and is not anywhere close to consideration this year. He has been outplayed by every QB with a winning record this season. No one is going to make excuses for him at 44. He is playing with the most stacked team that returned all 22 starters from last season! If he is too old make him retire. If I will not tolerate excuses for LeBum’s age den Brady should spare us his age epistle. |

The Chargers have hit the lottery on Justin Herbert. Bloody hell!! The Chiefs better watch out Roland17:This is stuff of horrors. Especially since its exactly one year since the Dak injury. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 1:43am On Oct 11, 2021 |
A40:Do they really have scoring depth? I mean, outside their 1, 2 punch do you think they have enough offense to win another chip? Also, you have the coaching situation.. Not everyone is sold on him despite the ring. But they have Giannis.. He is quite capable of being the best player on both ends of the court on any given night and that makes a whole lot of difference. |

A40:Herbert is a stud! I have known from his Oregon days. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:16am On Oct 11, 2021 |
Roland17:Who has more TDs than GOAT Brady? Remove Kyler Murray and maybe Justin there's no QB that has played better than Brady so he's definitely in the discussion. He's thrown same or less picks than the QBs in the MVP convo so bone that talk. Brady haters with this stacked team fraudulent narrative. Una no dey tire? I challenge you to provide evidence to where you had the Bucs as favorites going into the 2020 season. They were not favorites even in their division Brady is 44. 44! What he's doing is unheard of in any sport |

Roland17:They have a solid squad of guys that know their roles. I'm always very wary of teams like that. Their scorers do not get into each other's way on the court. And I'm telling you hungry guys like Portis, Nwora, Divincenzo, Allen with the attention Giannis gets on offense if they play to their potential that's San Antonio East. You know coach Bud is a Pop disciple Speaking of Bud the man gets a lot of unfair criticsm. Its because of his coaching we expect Milwaukee to even compete. Anyone who saw and remembered Jason Kidd's Bucks will have healthy respect for Bud's handwork |

Melo shooting 40% from 3 and yet ninjas like Ben Simmons wont shoot even from ten feet. You will never win a chip with that dude even as your second best player |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:50am On Oct 11, 2021 |
My boy Mahomes is having a stinker. These receivers are even making it worse with silly fumbles. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 4:51am On Oct 11, 2021 |
Roland17:He was good alright but He was nowhere near this good at Oregon. I say He was good because had He declared for the draft in His junior year, He most likely would have gone number 1 but a slight drop in His play in His senior year plus Tua mania ensured His draft stock plummeted going into the 2020 NFL draft. In hindsight, that might have been because Oregon's OC held Him back and limited His play a lot. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:53am On Oct 11, 2021 |
This Mahomes don dey cast small small. Another imposter in the GOAT convo unraveling?? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 5:04am On Oct 11, 2021 |
chic2pimp: A40:And you know what, they've only gone and done it again in this year's draft. Rashawn Slater is the best rookie OT I have seen in years. Dude is already playing like a veteran in just His first season. Going into the draft, I always thought Sewell had the higher upside but I'm not so sure now and even if He does, I believe it's marginal. I have them winning the Superbowl in the next year or two whilst those two are still on their rookie contracts. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:29am On Oct 11, 2021 |
chic2pimp:They lost a lot of close games last year, that's usually a sign a team is on the up. Getting a guy like Corey Linsley from the shitPackers who is an All pro C also helped. Much more reliable than Pouncey they had last year. That line has Austin Ekeler looking like an all pro back. A lot of people dont know the game won and lost at the line of scrimmage |
| Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 5:35am On Oct 11, 2021 |
Yh the Chiefs aren't going anywhere with that defense. Giving up 30 points per game and relying on Mahomes to bail you out each game won't cut it I'm afraid. Sorry chief faithfuls no AFC championship game for you this season let alone SB. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:39am On Oct 11, 2021 |
chic2pimp:Oregon failed to maximize Justin’s talents and there was just too much instability with the management and coaching at Oregon. We are talking about a player who had to adapt to playing under 3 coaches at different stages of his college career. You also forget he injured his collar bone which pretty much ended Oregon’s season. My brother go and watch Herbert in 2019 when he led the Ducks to a 12-2 I think season. Baba, this kid was already talked about as being special. Tua and Alabama had the better results and were heads above everyone in the country. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 6:14am On Oct 11, 2021 |
Roland17:They most definitely did. We all knew He was good hence why He would have gone Numero uno had He declared for the draft early however no one saw this coming. He had the season many thought Trevor would have this season. This dude literally balled out the moment He stepped on to the field to replace Tyrod vs the Chiefs. Very few and when I say very few I mean zilch called Him a generational talent like they did Trevor lawrence and Luck and Peyton before hand. Anyone that said they did is lying through their teeth. Heck Tua was more hyped. Remember the "Tank for Tua" slogan? Even burrow had more hype going into that draft after having possibly the best QB season by any college player ever. He has far and beyond exceeded everyone's expectation of Him it's no longer funny anymore. Miami must be kicking themselves right now. |

A40:Add to that they actually got a coach that knows what He is doing. I was really rooting for Lynn because I love to see Black HC's succeed in the league but Lynn was trash. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:16am On Oct 11, 2021 |
So the Lakers are 0-4 in preseason so far. Wahala dey o. Perhaps they're not as good as I thought they'd be. There's certainly a weird feel about this team. Make we dey see sha, but the signs are not good.

Roland17:The division is closing the gap on Mahomes. We already saw the Chiefs get smashed to bits at the SB. Better recognize every team that wants to be a dynasty has to reinvent itself |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:45pm On Oct 11, 2021 |
A40:You are mixing things up when you are using the frailties and weaknesses of a team to say Mahomes don cast and is an imposter. With that being said, you are right, the team, especially the way it is currently constructed can’t stay on top of the food chain. Maybe that is why returning all 22 starters for the Bucs is of course an important advantage for the tap dancer . But that credit should go to Brady, I concede for making huge exceptions to make it work. Can we talk about Josh Allen for a minute? All this guy has done over the last 2 seasons is ball! |

steady986:I keep telling guys to stop looking at names. There is only one rock and LBJ is not a magician. I want to see what the Lakers look like defensively come season start. Defense is their hope, because offensively, I can name 3, 4 teams in the west alone far better than they are. As far as I am concerned, Lakers have a big 2. I dont consider WB and Melo as legit championship threats. They have to prove me wrong. |

Roland17:Nah bro we can't give Mahomes all the credit when the going is good then exempt him of blame when it goes south. Not with how poorly he even played yesterday. The warning signs had been there with the Chiefs for the last two seasons. Returning all your players guarantee nada, injuries, players reverting to mean, complacency etc Credit to Allen but still think the Bills run game is dodgy |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:02pm On Oct 11, 2021 |
You people need to stop overreacting to preseason basketball. Any roster with high turnover will need time to gel. I watched that game and the Suns having played together for longer stretches have more chemistry. My only worry if I were pro Lakers is the fact that AD remains an injury threat everytime he steps on the floor. I don't know if he is just a naturally clumsy fellow with dodgy equillibrum but he seems to always fall awkwardly, get hit in the eye, every other play someone is pulling him off the floor. Also the 3pt shooting. They are probably going to be a very mediocre 3pt shooting team. So are they going to play bully ball or remain in denial of their limitations |

Jon Gruden...What can I say? It doesn't shock me one bit. I watched his post game interview yesterday and I did not observe any iota of remorse. He had a hat on to cover his face and you see he had no remorse. |

The whole Kyrie issue for me boils down to this. For someone to get religious exemption, you have to present documentation showing that actual doctrine, dictated by a registered religion in the US. It is the same procedure for conscientious objectors during wars. Thus the state cannot just bend the rules for someone because they are nba players. That being said Kyrie has every right to refuse the vaccine, but he must also understand that in life every action has its attendant consequences. So he must just live with it |
