You've quoted me twice. You seem edgy. Do you seek direction? The first step towards redefining yourself is examination. A man with a gallery filled with memes is in dire need of refinement or redefining.

Wetin make you tire? Why won’t you tire when you’re running around in circles chasing your tail?

You posted oil recommendations for a 2003 Toyota Camry meant to be used in USA.

Gazzuzz posted oil recommendations for a 2003 Toyota Camry meant to be used in Nigeria.

Both manuals are officially from Toyota motor company.

What is so hard to understand in such simple details as shown above?

i bought a new engine for my Toyota Camry 2008 model, serviced it with Total Qwartz 5000 , i have done about 1,200 only to check the oil this morning and its at half of the guage mark. What's the cause please, is it from the oil or the engine please?
Re: Oil Not Showing On Dip Stick by Ayara222: 11:13am On Oct 11, 2021
This is not a good sign at all . if there was sign of leak on the ground . Than good news at least u can try to trace the leak ... But if there is no sign of any leaks at all .. It means the oil is burning somewhere and more than likely the engine is bad .. You can always ask for a second opinion .........what type of oil were u using?

My experience from my uber cars .. During my early yes of uber with no experience with car maintenance. I used a 2003 camry at the time on my fleet. I was using 20w50 xhp The engine kept shorting oil with no sign of leaks on the ground and little white smoke coming out at morning start up very little smoke.

So my mechanic advice to top the engine with 20w50 and sell the car.. So anytime a buyer comes to look at the car . we start the car up to clear up the smoke before any buyer shows up . And that is how we were able to sell the car .. And from there on I vowed never to use 20w50 oil again.......

[is Total Quartz 5000 a 20w50?]

Dru has successfully turned this into a joke.

I hope the message has been passed to all and sundry.

Dru should be dealt with at owners risk.
The guy is a damn fraud that is too damn du.mb to even keep it away from the public.

Conduct due diligence oh, to be forewarned is to be forearmed

This is certainly not the right thread to seek such advise from except you are actively seeking for a sorry excuse for a solution from dru the fraud king

Check car talk threads, you'll most certainly find the most suitable thread to table ur matters

As much as you owns your car, I am talking from experience. Last year December, Dec 22 precisely, I bought a green colour Camry 03 from someone that needs some cash and the person uses 20W50. As at then, I already owned a gold colour big daddy which I bought in 2019 as toks which I have been using 5W30 full synthetic oil and I change it twice a year.
A day after Easter Monday this year, the green color oil pump failed and spoilt the metal bearing. From my research and some technicians verdicts, the thicker the oil, the more power and force it requires for oil pump to pump the oil. I repaired it and sold it on July 9th and bought Camry 2012 that is on Castrol 5W30 full synthetic.
The gold Camry is V6 VVTi, cool as ever, 5W30 lubricate well than 20W50, I have never add any fluid including coolant since I have bought it and it is the car I travels with which is the reason I bought V6 and I lives in Ibadan but works in Lagos Island.
So whether you change the oil even 2k miles or 500miles, that oil is too tick for Camry 03 and upward oil pump.
It is the oil pump weakness that mostly damage engine parts especially crankshaft and metal bearings because they won't get enough lubrication.
The Mobil 1 full synthetic 5US Quartz I uses is 23k as at last month from Jumia and I change it at least twice a year. I do accrue minimum of 10k miles in a year. Calculate the amount you will spend in a year on thicker oil and calculate mine and see who saves more.
it's about damn time! You only need 2 oil changes a year with synthetic and the right filter! NL and wahala I swear

He was trying to make a failed point, which I didn’t even understand so I ignored. How’s installing a Tokunbo engine on a car bad, in fact that’s the closest in reliability to buying a direct foreign used car. I bought similar Camry In 2018 like Dru23 described. Car kept shutting oil, Kept spending money on mechanics removing my engine and looking for leaks till I ended up buying a Tokunbo engine and had peace of mind.
nope.

Lol don't mind him .. He thinks buying a Tokunbo car in Nigeria with Tokunbo replacement engine in Nigeria is smart thing to do .........

Tokunbo engine that has no mileage or ways to know the true mileage... And most seller will not tell u they have replace it with a Nigerian tokunbo engine

better than an engine that needs replacement, or are you gonna sell a car as scrab once engine is very bad, to the extent of causing oil shortage with no obvious leaks? You simply make do with what you have.

Mr. Man the debate is would you buy a tokunbo car knowing for fact that the seller has replaced the engine..

Meaning that the seller bought the Tokunbo engine replace and than sell it to you... And would still buy it at the market price or would you rather buy straight tokunbo without any changes ? ..

Obviously if you have a naija used car and needs engine replacement, it will make sense to buy Tokunbo engine than buy brand new engine from factory that will cost more than the car itself...

Mr man what he's saying is that tokunbo engine or not, you are not in the best position to argue.

You that will intentionally sell a car with a bad engine after deceiving the seller.

A renowned thief cannot be opinionated in a discussion about integrity, accountability and responsibility.

Just NOPE?
Without an alternative?

I guess you just came here to act the part!!

Well you had better make your standing clear before established fraudsters identify with you.

I know what you meant to say but it's your prerogative to explain what exactly you mean.
You have a ton load of experience with cars unlike the obvious blond bloke on rampage and I'm sure you understand the related engine risks when importing used (auction) vehicles down here.

Except you are in full support of selling tokunbo cars with defective engines to naive individuals after padding it with temporary fixes aimed at masking the problem.

Argument 1

Meaning that the seller bought the Tokunbo engine replace and than sell it to you... And would still buy it at the market price or would you rather buy straight tokunbo without any changes ? ..
Contextually unrelated argument 2

Obviously if you have a naija used car and needs engine replacement, it will make sense to buy Tokunbo engine than buy brand new engine from factory that will cost more than the car itself...
It's obvious that you have several arguments in your head.

You alone arguing with yourself.
You need mental evaluation.

I agree.

Also nice for you to stress the issue of filter.
Very very important!!!

I see some guys leaving in synthetic oils in their car with the generic China aftermarket filter for more than 6months. This is a direct result of oil hawkers overstretching the need for synthetic oils with little or no reference for the need for genuine oil filters.

Also for the record, conventional multigrade oils are also not as bad as people portray it although I'd advise to stick to manufacturer specs except the vehicle has been terribly abused beyond redemption.

It's all in your head. No one can feel threatened by a fraudster, they may be concerned but not threatened.

Doing fbi investigations just to profile someonehuh Cmon businessmen don't have that time except the ones with mental problems.

And you know the worst kind of mental problem? The one you know you have and you accept it without seeking help.

That's how serial killers come into being.
In your case I know you're too sissy to make an attempt on someone's life but you need an addiction to complement you mental state hence the serial frauds and scams.

Tell us, how many people have you scammed.?

It won't be long now before you graduate into a full blown thief, a petty one at that.

Swapping good parts with bad parts and refurbishing them before installing them into vehicles and selling them.

Interesting part? You'll be doing it for fun.

As a psychologist it's something I have come across a couple of times, I could squeeze you in for an appointment so I can help you but the first step is yours. You have to admit that you are crazy and need urgent help.

Your choice.

You and I know this, sometimes you need fulfillment based happiness.

Of course I personalise my sessions, the above is for people like you that think they have arrived financially only to discover that mental health is also as important as physical and financial health.

You know how people see you, many of your close friends already know you are damn right crazy and the few that have managed to tell you this to your face, you have detached.

By now you know there's a problem with your head, act on it fast before it becomes extremely difficult to manage.

In the states, you will be tagged and brutally dealt with after a series of unprovoked offenses, in Nigeria (I hope for your sorry blond a.s.ss. that you never act yourself here) you will be burnt like a barbecue.
