KingOfAmebo:Have you ever bought a foreign good or had the opportunity to get crypto currency? Will you prefer a dollar as a gift to naira? Have you ever exchanged naira for a dollar? If you have done any of these, then you are part of the problem. Let go of politics and religious sentiment and let's face the fact. There is no reasonable wealthy man that will run all his business in Nigeria. The Nigeria business environment is highly frustrating. If you go for agriculture bandits will attack you , you go for forex business EFCC will come after you. You don't leave all your assets in one country. Ask Buhari who frequently visits the London hospital, Ask Tinubu, Ask Dangote, Ask Wale Adenuga , Ask Atiku. Some countries tax systems are far better off than that of Nigeria. Because Bishop Oyedepo is a pastor that's why you are attacking him. Make a research about Pst. T.D Jakes. You could have asked Shell, Chevron to run their business in only their country of origin. Under the principles of business and international taxes/accounting |

Did he earn the money in the country he loves? Let his country create an enabling environment for citizens to make money and watch them pay taxes voluntarily. |

Tax avoidance is a not illegal, and not a sin, it's just a way of trying to minimise your tax payment by using the opportunity of lapses in tax laws. Since payment of taxes are overwhelming a business profit, what do you expect? The taxed you are paying for is not even giving you the results you expected for. How will you feel seeing your taxes being used to feed some clueless, gluttony, jobless and non result oriented individuals doing nothing at all. That's a shame. |

KingOfAmebo:All of you are mad, the one that you collect, what do you do with it? By the way, did they even watch Peter Obi's interview? How he said the profits from those Companies were even reinvested in Nigeria? What effort are they marketing to confirm such claim? Or is it just about political blackmail? |

KingOfAmebo:Taxing Just the Owambe Parties that cast over N2 Million Naira at 50% Tax is enough to repair and develop Nigeria's Economy Any Party with more than 4 Cows gets an automatic N1 Million Tax Notice if they don't agree they can appeal it. For example Obi Cubana with his 300 Cows would have paid at least N30 Million Naira Owambe Party Tax That Way they will have to do Owambe Party Tax Contribution at the Party before they start to throw the money in the Air , on the floor , dance on top of it and Scatter it with their feet That N30 Million Tax can be used to rehabilitate and equip some of those horrible looking primary Schools. |

As long as I didn't steal from the public, I ll keep my earnings how I deem fit. But for those thieves stashing our money somewhere, whether in or out of the country... Thunder will locate you all |

humility33:Didn’t you read my post properly or you are just in a hurry to comment? My post was not critical of Obi rather it was in support of anyone who chooses not to pay tax to a wasteful system. I’d rather pay my taxes in the UK because I see it at work but my taxes in the Nigerian system goes towards funding waste. Comprehension |
