You and I know that the 73% battery you mentioned is a blatant exaggeration. I mean, if you must denigrate anything, it should always be the truth and not just because you want to make a point- based on lies.
Fortunately Tolu181 is right. However, he should check apps that consumes more battery, then he should optimize them

Battery consumption has reduced significantly on the 12.5 update on Note 9s. I'm really shocked shocked

Please I noticed that my Android System has been consistently consuming up most of my battery power since I got my phone. I've tried every power saving trick I can think of but it still hasn't changed. Does anyone know what I can do? cc:genius43 Gptech

Android system only increases when your phone is idle. I have repeatedly said this here.

Please I've been having this problem with downloaded youtube videos all of a sudden becoming unavailable to play back; I use to think that it happens when your phone don't have data for some days but I noticed it does happen randomly. I was just watching one of the downloaded videos when other videos just changed with a grey exclamation mark, I've tried clearing my cache but still same thing. I am using the default youtube application. Please is there any way to revert those videos to be playable like before.

I had to delete my youtube vanced application because all of a sudden, it started showing that it was not connected to the internet when am very sure I had data, and I cross checked to make sure I didn't block it from accessing the internet.

I've been trying to upload screenshot of the downloaded videos in youtube in my phone but its not uploading.

It looks okay. You somehow avoided showing us your network usage because I have a feeling that you are using nTel.

Exactly what I have noticed after switching to Xiaomi and it is really making me mad. Apart from Nokia, even the so called shitfinix and scrapno doesn't behave like this. I used to leave my infinix ON overnight and by the morning, the battery percentage will still be where I left it.

But this Redmi, if I leave it idle overnight, before daybreak I would have lost about 3%. Xiaomi needs to work on their phone idle power consumption.

This one has all the problems in this world, even family and generational curses dey follow'am like flies dey follow pikin wey carry shit for yash. En no get any problem wey this one no dey get, infact, am sure him don win world cup for the heaviest problem in the world that he is too short in real life because his problems are weighing him down.

If you guys noticed, since no one was obliging his whinnings, he got bored and stopped, he only crops up when his fellow jobless bingos surfaces. These kind of shinees should have been marked and ignored for good.

That's the problem, my phone is never idle since I'm always using it unless I have to run a quick errand after which I pick it up again. Should I be worried

Then download full ROM for your device and reinstall. Or force restart severally.

It is not something to lose sleep over anyway.

These battery complaints I see sha. I don't quite get them.

My first Redmi was RN7 and it didn't drop battery until it was about a year and four months old. The battery issues were my fault.

I overcharged the battery and used it under really hot temperatures. I was using and charging under temperatures of 44°C.

Even at that, the phone never dropped up to the 7% that I'm seeing here.

I acknowledged my fault, learnt my lessons and I have been more careful with my lithium batteries ever since I dropped the RN7 for the RN9 Pro. My phone (over a year old) and my Mi Band 5. (Images of both battery charts attached)

Everything I have learnt in the past two years about how batteries work is here.

https://inquisitiveuniverse.com/category/battery/

Problem is that people REFUSE TO LEARN. They hold on to old information and continue as they were.
